I think the skinnier you are the more it hurts. I'm really slim and it took him 5 minutes to grab enough skin/fat then I felt it more. My friend who is heavier didn't really feel it and the piercer said it hurts more if you have less there. Mine hurt more than my industrial which says a lot haha.
