I've used "-" to indicate the bars Intro: G F#/Dsus4 - F/Gsus2 Cadd9 - x2 Verses Em7 F/Dsus4 - Cadd9 - Pre chorus Cadd9 - Cadd9 (on 3) Dsus4 Cadd9 - D - Chorus is G F#/Dsus4 - F/Gsus2 Cadd9 - x2 G F#/Dsus4 - F/Gsus2 E7 - (cause I'm no superman) Am7 - Cm - Bridge is G F#/Dsus4 - Cm - x2 G F#/Dsus4 - Em7 - Cadd9 (on 4) F#/Dsus4 Don't trust tabs, learn by ear.

@CamNacson You are right! However, he switches between the C and the G on the verse. At the end of the first line, he hits the C(add9). The second line brings a G. The last line brings another C, which leads into the prechorus

on the D/F# just form a D chord and use your thumb for the 2nd fret on the low e.

John Mayer plays like that, at first its odd but once your learn to use your thumb it makes alot of chords easier, and you can play new chords too :]

it doesnt explain it actually, it just says to ignore and use capo ten...which i said i understood in my original comment, i was just curious why you change it

the tab says that the song is in half step down, but that joe plays it a whole octave higher, which is 12 steps, so in half step down tuning a whole octave higher would be capo 11, however in standard tuning it would be capo 10, it makes no sense to tune down a half step then stick capo 11 when standard w/ capo 10 is the same thing, hope that helped

Yeah it's true XD I used to be terrible at guitar. And it took me a matter of weeks to be better that i thought i could ever be :P Just literally learn how to read tabs. And then pick up a guitar start playing them. You will pick up how to place you're hand as you go. Everyone has there own way of doing it. Try starting with Scotty doesnt know by lustra That was the first song i learned. As soon as you master the strumming you can alot more other songs =]

hey well heres what you can do, i do realize that capo on the 10th fret isnt really favorable, so actually you can tune your guitar up a half step so instead of EADGBE you could tighten each string up so then F A# D# G# C F

then capo on the 9th would be the same as EADGBE capo on 10th, see what i mean?

im sure there is a version on the 11th fret, but there are others as well, it may be different capo'd than he plays live, but its all about the chords, not neccesarrily what octave you play them in
