  • Any one can help me to find Doma Norbu la contact number??????????

  • it is a sad, tragic story. all the sacrifices and suffering they went through.

  • @ikhamo It is a sad story that is in complete contradiction with the philosophy Buddhists. People who have been led to believe the illusion of an independent Tibet, with borders to be defended are responsible for all this unnecessary suffering.

The 9th Panchen Lama had denounced the illusion of an independent Tibet and provided all these sufferings.

  • @shongnub

Buddhist understanding of Ahimsa is not as rigid. Look at the monks fighting for their country and human rights in Burma and Tibet. Some Buddhists even justify defensive war. Then you see the situation in Palestine and Israel, fighting over land and religion which has caused centuries of suffering and unrest. I just hope Tibet never ends up like that.

  • @ikhamo There is a difference between fighting for human rights in a non-violent and fight violently for independence of a territory.

The first fight is a compassionate approach that has its place in Buddhist philosophy, the second fight forgotten Buddhist teachings and leads to much suffering and pain due to attachenment the illusion of an independent state (or autonaume ) with borders.
