Why is it that so many 'so-called' chritians are so eager to go to war... it really does suggest some blurring of the lines and boundaries of christianity. Especially when GW Bush can call himself one. While growing up history teachers never "get to" cover very much history from the Civil War through the present. Only if you take some honor history class will you barely touch on the 1930's and onward....as your video points out..I wonder why?????Like the "Don't ask don't tell" policy maybe this trend should be called "Don't tell don't know" policy...dustbin of history here we come! Irish history wasn't taught in 'Northern' Irish schools until about 10 years ago... and only as a means to brring about the changes needed to end the conflict... now everyone has access to the truth... or the almost truth... you ned to read lots of sources to find it... and have the skills to deduce it... but it's there... the whole truth :)

Many things influenced the making of this video, but the underlying theme is history repeating itself. Like all art, to is supposed to make you think and draw a conclusion.

What I don't understand is that while you claim not to understand the meaning of this peice, it certainly seems to have had an effect on you. My guess is that it made you think - unfortunately you didn't like the conclusion drawn by your own concience.

I had to reply to that you noticed it had an effect on a perosn that dosnt quite get everything. Im having a hard time with that. I wasnt brought up being taught much about history and government although my dad was very into it, he past away when i was young.
