  • Awesome Video, "Beach Cats World Network"

  • weeeeeeeeee

  • If you guys look at the windward hull at :28, you can tell it says hobie. At :31,It says Hobie tiger on the sails.ITS A TIGER.

  • that's real sailing right there!

  • i managed to pitchpole a hobie 16 going upwind, on camera... didnt really know that it was possible... and the girl who was crewing for me broke her foot during the pitchpole, take a look, its the first video i uploaded

  • sSeriously, some of you are so stupid

  • puit some wings on that bitch!

  • Pitchpoled a laser coming into the harbor during a big ebb, didnt think it was possible until the rudder was almost over my head...

  • good effort for pitch poling one of them.... must have been trying pretty hard.... .... lol still only a slow boat so not much damage done :)

  • is that hobie 21? looks different than the 16 I crew on... And yeah that was a pretty wicked wipeout. Nothing like pitching a cat.

  • i think its a tiger

  • nah tigers have banana hull too like a normal hobie 16, its probably an F16 or 18 made buy Hobie because it has center boards, as all the big brands (nacra ect... make a boat to fit the those classes :)

  • Its a Hobie tiger.

  • Best pitchpole; no; best hobie crash video ever

  • now try that again with a spinnaker up

  • Arwsome pitchpoling I did the same in my f18 but we hit a shallow reef with the dagger boards, the nose hit the reef, frightning

  • Never seen such an aggressive pitchpole like that !!!

  • what kind of speed do these things do?

  • anything from 20-30 knots in a good breeze mate.

  • did that in a 420 the ohter day

    not as fast though

  • u pitchpoled a 420 did u snap the mast

  • no thank god

  • holy shit that was violent!

  • How deep is the canal? It looks like you've hit bottom with your bowsprit.

  • sweet

  • I wonder if the helmsman kept his eyes open at the point of takeoff because it happens so quickly the brain might not have taken in what was happening. Great footage. Thanks

  • My favorite pitch pole of all times, is when we went over a huge wake from a hundred footer. We hit the hard water from the props a good fifty yards from the cruiser which was going very fast. The energy from that wake slammed us over, but not before we got in some pretty good manuvers to save ourselves. Pretty spectacular, I thought the cruiser would come around, but they just kept going after destroying us, ha ha.

  • We've pitched over more times than I can count with our Hobie 18SX. My moto is "if we haven't broken something then we did not have any fun". I always carry some emergency repair stuff. 20+ knots of wind make for a wild time.

  • Power boats suck ass. Wind FTW

  • woot!!

  • xD / :0

  • wahoooooooooooo

  • dumb, i just pitchpoled my new hobie cat last weekend pretty high winds

  • Shitty music - negative

Sailboats eating shit -- oh boy positive

  • sweet pitchpole

  • PWNED WHEN THEY FALL OFF

  • cool the power of wind a

  • i sail for team gb and its pretty fun doin it comin off the top of a wave!!!!

  • This happened to my daughter and me on a Hobie 16 off Isla Mujer when we were in Cancun. The mast and sail went deep 6 and I had to dive for the halyard and bring the sail up to windward in order to right the boat.

  • lol i wanna go!!!

    i <3 it !!!

like this?? visit 'hatty the matador'

    and laugh urself silly!!!!!!!

  • They should of done the full rotation, end over end forward loop, call them sailors? I do them all the time, one in the middle of the Pacific on a Formula 60 doing 40knots and pulled it of. I will post the video soon.

  • that was planned, these guys are the nissan hobie display team, lol the best hobie sailors there are and to nose dive like tht well, its not gna happen, also they wer both to far foreward in winds like that.

  • that looks almost as fun as fallin out a boat while getting a fairly high speed tow (about 15 knts)

  • That brings backs memories.....was in Plymouth on a laser5000 and we flipped...broke the mast and shredded the spinny

  • CRAZY, I've capsized on accident a lot of times, but nothing even close to that

  • Looked cool as hell

  • did the mast break?

  • yeah thats the reason they carried on sailing afterwards! |=o

  • lol

  • Holy crap!

  • nice guys, good speed, thanks for putting that up makes me wich I was out on the H2O.

  • i was watching one of those aussie 18 skif races one of them pitchpoled the guy hit the water so hard he broke his arm

  • ouch! painfull

my crew landed on me with his hook on my neck

    that was painfull!

  • all i can say is OUCH! me and ma mate pitchpoled a fireball for the fu of it

  • Aie, le Frontloop en Hobbie ca passe pas encore....

  • WOW! Astounding pitchpole! Was that bailout planned? :-)

Less music, more actual sound would be nice.

  • was the whole thing planned, lol

it looks to clean to be an accident!
