@smellytoaster its a normal guitar :) try rolling off on the treble and the mid(maybe) and increasing the bass, that works for me :)what guitar do you use btw?

@urgnomen it's such a perfect tone though, listen to a lossless (or high quality) version of this song with nice headphones, it's crazy. Doing what you say, I get closer to the sound. Also I hear Andy Dunlop uses his fingernails instead of a pick. I play a Fender HSS Strat and a 1984 B.C. Rich NJ Series Ironbird.
