@pumpdaddythe1st Leave your cuticles unkept but not to the point where they get ugly,

but guys usually cut their nails as short as possible so their fingers seem shorter. The longer the fingers, the more elegant. And men usually have thick nails, so i would suggest to use a nail straighthener

which usually comes in a clear polish. But obviously dont paint your whole nail :P

Paint @ the sides and underneath the tips with a very thin brush. I hope this helped :)
