"Director Christopher Cain...paints a damning, one-sided portrait of Latter-day Saints in this irresponsible, ham-fisted morality tale that plays off our cultural ignorance of the Mormon religion...The events surrounding the killings are historically cloudy, but not according to this film...He stops short of calling Osama bin Laden a Mormon sympathizer, but maybe that'll be on the DVD." - Ty Burr, Boston Globe
yes it does, their faith is based on supposed early american civilaztion that never existed so if they never existed jesus never came to them and there was no golden tablets. what do they base their faith on?
Missouri had an "extermination order" against Mormons that wasn't lifted until the 1970's. Until very recently it was perfectly legal to kill a Mormon in Missouri.
People didn't focus on it because the media doesn't focus on the fringe Wacko Christian element. Now that we have a prominent LDS member up for president and could very well win, it's now okay to go for interesting early American religious history. They should do one about how the Mormons were driven out of state after state even after barn burning deadly massacres by so called Christians.
