  • ok... off subject but why do people haul 2 23' b-double trailers instead of 1 46 foot trailer

  • did you see the squat on those drive tires?

  • @HOWNDOG66 this is filmed on private forestry roads he loaded at a skid site and is on the mills private road not a public road.

  • In the US, a load of logs like that will get your truck impounded, the driver arrested and the fine will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars....and that ain't no bullshit!!!

  • @raginroadrunner Because American truck drivers are soft :) we do things properly in oz!!!

  • @BAwithBALLS ..incorrect..it's because of so many tree huggers...ask yourself this..how can a log truck truck tear up a road of solid rock???...it's just another way for our government to rape a hard working man of his income....it has to stop and the do gooders buzz off..

  • THE BEST TRUCKS IN WORD ARE FROM USA THE REST ARE PEANUTS

  • @betergigech ..ya got that right..but the Russians make some pretty good stuff..

  • Nothing like a Mack. but......how is this "off road"?

  • It's even legal to drive this thing on the roads ?

  • Did anyone else notice the automated tire inflation system on the rear axles? Or at least that is my best guess what that is.

  • @crazy7997 Sure is. All log trucks here have them...

  • equal to four logging trucks here in the states, The clutch must be huge on that thing.

  • @crazy7997 There are bigger logging trucks in New Zealand similar to the big Australian road trains with a powered trailer

  • screw the 18 wheelers. he's got 38

  • @creamyfilling102 some of our normal road trucks have up to 36 wheels. Not just the logging trucks

  • Taking a corner probably suck whit this monster.

  • nice!

  • imagin how much preasure is on the fron tires while turning? the big load pusing aganst em weird

  • holy cow whats the limit over there

  • /watch?v=7-vyoIQGwnY&feature=related

  • When was this movie made?? 1950?? HAHAHA

  • About 15-20 years ago these things used to tow three trailers the tractor unit used to be the pacific truck sum had 350hp & others had 400hp cummins and a truck called the marathon which pulled 4 trailers it had another engine set up in the first trailer from Murupara to Kawerau on a private road called the million dollar road

  • now thats power!!!!

  • cool

  • we don't get stuff like this in the US...

  • Since my childhood, I hav been fond of road trains like these..I would love to drive one in my life :)

  • jeez thats a big truck i live n australia

  • when i saw this i was WTF they are driving om the wrong side of the rode and 2 sec after aah not sweden ;)

  • driving on the wrong side of the road sure made that turn easier :D

  • It must take 20 mins just to check all the pressure in those tires!

  • thats a big bastard !!!!!!

  • i bet this guy used to be a bus driver....just pull out like he;s the only one on the road

  • go New Zealand and that is 1 sereously long truck

  • lets see this truck in a tug of war

  • hij zal maar door je straat reiden

  • cool would they let those on all roads? pm back plz

  • tremendo mackario, super larga la lanza del dolly........

  • Caterpillar C18 engine?

  • nah. mack doesnt use cat in their engines over here. mostly mp8s or cummins

  • its a c16 with brake saver

  • Thats what my dad drives, Macks. :D

  • I see that is very heavy! Good job!

  • I drive 2x53' " turnpike double in Canada, but that rig just amazing! My baby 63000kg, if loaded to max, I just wanted to be in australia and drive one of your trains! Greeting mates!

  • 63000 that's a lot I have been trucking here in latinamerica (Colombia) and my W900 is often as heavy as yours

  • @MrNohab thats new zealand mate

  • Holy good balls!!!! That's huge!!

  • You can almost always calculate(estimate) the weight of a 'road truck' by counting the total number of tires and multiplying by about 4,500 to 5,000 pounds per tire. This rig has 38-tires, thus a total gross wt. of about 190,000 pounds or about 95 tons. Almost all 20": 22,5"; 22" and 24.5" tires throughout the world are made to these specifications.

  • And the odd thing is that the tires are made to that specification so that they don't damage the roads too much.

We could easily make bigger trucks, like the ones used in mines, but they'd destroy the roads, or simply be too big for them.

Logging - Held back by the public roads. :)

  • WOOW! That´s a REAL truck.

  • jesus,what a beast

  • i bet things got a D10 cat motor in it

  • BIIIG WOODEN TRUCK !! xD

  • 200 ton doubles...! God in heaven that's crazy. They start jumping up and down if you're over 40t here in the states, but that's interstate long haul usually. I couldn't imagine pulling something like that.

  • @NoiseMostBeautiful our payload here for road trucks are 44t, but changing to 53t...thats just on normal roads like your interstate trucks. But the forestry trucks here on private roads are more

  • thats raw diesel truck power

  • how great is that

btw-what are your roads made of in Australia if they can take this monsters? :-)

  • This is shot in NZ . but for your answer to what our roads in Australia are made of the answer is the cheapest Shit main roads can find. Most sealed roads out of the city have wheel ruts 6" deep from trucks the best example is the Warrego hwy between Dalby & Chinchilla its a joke

  • holyshit

  • God that would suck if you came across a steep downhill or uphill.

  • I don't think they would allow a load like that on a North American road.I've never seen a truck loaded like that over here anyway.

  • On a public road no you cant have a setup that large. But on a private logging road you can do what you please. They can gross 80+ ton on a single trailer and 150-200 ton on doubles.

  • haha, Its funny cause us kiwis just drive this sorta load/setup on public roads.

but im guessing american highways are heaps different. :P

  • Yea you guys from AU and NZ have some interesting weight laws. I might have been partially wrong though, there might be over size/weight logging permits available depending on the state.

  • We dont have a combo like that on public road you egg. We are limited to 20meters and 44ton. This is private road. Read discription.

  • go mack

  • nice

  • only a mack

  • mattbx..what a truck..she carries alot of logs..

  • you can tell thats heavy look at the tires squatting

  • I bet if you tied that tractor to a mountain, and dropped the clutch, the Earth would spin backwards a little.

  • You can tell it's an off-road truck by the pavement it drives away on ;)

  • mate its just tar and chip surface, the 2 main drags in Kaingaroa Forest are this, the foundations maybe stronger but its the same surface as we drive our cars on,all a other arterial roads in this forest are metal, some skid tracks will be just the pumic ground that alot of that area is

  • How do you park one of these?

I've got 18 wheels of steel convoy and I didn't manage to park a double trailer.

  • i cant figure that out ether... but i love that game do you????

  • ya i love it

  • Needs another trailer of logs.

  • no it don't fool

  • I was kidding.

  • oh opps sory lol

  • It's ok shit happens :P

  • lol new zealand rulez

  • Thats awesome! What who we do without diesel power!

  • I expect that we would do pretty well sense we've got petrol. But not as well as with diesel sense it gives more power.

  • It wasnt a question, but i agree.

  • cool .From Germany

  • Damn I miss them trucks...

  • Man, it's a train for gods sake.

  • nice !

  • WOOOOWW!!!!

  • Good sized load ,its about 125 tons all up ,going to a town called taupo,3hour drive unload and then do it all again ,been there done that for RFH ,so i do know what i am talking about ,several of these sized rigs working the area some have three trailers,1 used to have 2 engines ,all off highway roads ,all radio reporting to know where each other is ,no problem ,biggest problem is slow loading by lazy loaders.come to australia and see the bigger stuff.

  • mack's trucks are nice

  • Ya think anyone would notice, that itty bit spinning light on the roof of the rig? C'mon!

  • do you need the light by day?, you can see the rig from a km away!!

  • no mud flaps on the back of the trailer

  • I hear that guys that drive Macks suffer from tunnel vision alot..........it must be from staring up that dog's asshole all day. lol

  • Dude imagine blowing that load all over the face of the road

  • Beautiful machine and engineering, just out of interest just when starting off there, what gear is the starting gear LO or 1st?

  • 厉害啊。。。。拉了多少啊

  • dont supose anybody noticed the tyre deflation system it had on the truck very cool thing that

  • 50 - 60 ton to on chyba ciągną cały zestaw warzy moze 60-70ton

  • Ok jhi69, I respect this video, but thats the dumbest thing Ive read for a while. Its just a truck man, calm down. And belive me there's a lot better trucks. Mack is good though. And Im not going to get into a whats-better-than-what arguement either.

  • there's only 2 kinds of truckers in the world, those that drive Macks and those that wish they did.

  • verdamich!!,wieviel Tonnen?!,verdamich,verdamich!!!

  • not to hard mate just got to remeber to change down gears slow down and swing the old girl out wide i drive a mack titan 605 hp pulling about 60 to 70 tons of wood sand gravel good trucks
