@bookworm0928 i do sin in the inner third, sidecar in the middle and toasted on the last third. blend it slightly. and then i do a very small bit of naked in the crease, virgin on the brow bone and inner corner of the eye for highlight and then a very small amount of buck on the outer third of the lower lash line. i basically follow caramorello's 'Simple Look Using the Naked Palette' tutorial with some small modifications

Great tutorial! I just followed along with my new Naked Palette, which arrived yesterday, and created the natural look. I usually wear so little makeup that the natural look is quite dramatic on me. I have very fair skin and pale blue/gray eyes, and wow, if ever there was a palette tailor made for blue eyes, UD Naked Palette is it! Seems to work for everyone!

P.S. The only thing I changed was the liner. I also ordered the UD 24/7 liner sampler in Naked, and used one called "Underground" (sort of a taupey-brown shade).

I am a lighter-skinned black female and I was able to do both looks with great results! the More neutral look is something I do for work and it makes my eyes look bigger and brighter! Also the neutral look is great when you want to wear bold red lips!!

I would have liked the natueral look so much better if you had left out the eyeliner, even go as far as not applying any mascara. I think when you do not have those two products on that it is just that much more natural, and it is still pretty. I really like the dramatic look. I myselfe have never wore falsh lashes, but they do make a big difference.

@pau0096 hmmm...I think they are very good & pigmented. Remember that you get different intensities bythe brush that you use & technique. The more dense the brush, the darker or more pigment you will get. Whereas a loose blending type brush, gives a lighter wash of the color. (do a patting of color before blending to get better intensity) The $1 elf brushes are very UNDERRATED in my opinion. Smashbox too. I bought a few Smashbox kits w/included brushes. I love them all.

The current trend in brows is full & cleanly shaped, so is it the fullness/thickness that you don't like? Nothing worse than a tadpole eyebrow. LOL (oh wait...yes there is. A drawn on eyebrow like a cartoon-after they have been shaved off) hehe Mine suck---they are blonde, have no exagerated arch and have bare patches, so Em's are perfect in my book.

I love how unconventional the dramatic look was done. I would have never have thought to put toasted all over the lid up to the brow and then layer it. Great tutorial, Emily. The Naked Palette is one of the best palettes I've seen in a long time (Temptalia has given it a perfect A+ score which is rare even for high end brands); I'm just glad it's permanent in the Urban Decay lineup because I see myself repurchasing it again and again, the quality and value for the price is that good. Btw, I love those ELF faux lashes! They look lush but natural and at $1 each pair, a total steal!
