  • Well done to you. I'm currently starting a regime of anti retrovirals prophylaxis as I had a risk a week ago..I'm hoping the pills will catch the potential risk, but we never know. I am on a regimen of Truvada and Kaletra and they have made me have terrible diaohrrea, so I really symphathise with you on the side effects. I am a gay white man, so I really admire what your doing for your own community. Take care sweetie. M.xx

  • i take it seriously. my boyfriend and i live in different cities and i talk to him all the time about this .we are exclusive but i just like hiv facts to be fresh in his mind like they are in my mind. just a few a week ago i heard someone at work recanting some facts that she didn't know about before i told her and just hearing her tell someone else was heartwarming.

  • Best of luck my man

  • Thank you so much for sharing these very personal parts of your life with us. Often people just look at persons living with HIV/AIDS as contaminated, but thank you for reminding us that before anything else, persons living with HIV/AIDS are PEOPLE. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Just know there are people out here who support you and wish all the best for your physical, emotional and social health!

  • establishment who only use you in their own interests. Don't you understand that. They will make sure you have sufficient amount of finances, but in return they want to advertise you to the public, so more people will be lured to the pharma industry and take those toxic drugs. You are obviously suffering adverse reactions from the drugs. I watched your first video and you look vibrant and now, I'm am very sorry to say that, you look sickly. Why are you doing this to yourself? Why?

  • been attacked by foreign substances it will produce large number of antibodies thus unreliable non-specific to an elusive "HIV" virus, which has never been isolated results in a positive status. Why do you think it's the virus, not the lifestyle? Try to think the way around. And, I am being honest and sincere with my intentions. I, trully believe you are NOT "HIV" infected. Yout immune system has been damage by a lifestyle to which you, yourself admited. Please, don't listen to the AIDS

  • Justin......your eyes are turning yellow because the drugs are attacking your liver. You have seen the beginning of the drug toxicity with the nausea and diarrhea.....if you are taking protease inhibitors...be prepared for your body fat to start to redistribute itself ...if your face starts to look hollow around the cheeks this is caused by the protease inhibitors.....also be aware of lactic acidosis....because this can kill you...LOOK IT UP! The bone scan is because the drugs destroy marrow!

  • thank you for your strength

  • thats actually kind of funny with the "o thats where it is", lol

  • ccr5cxcr4, its not like the government would do anything like that right? that would be madness. i mean, our own go(d)vernment would never do that. right? you would have to be crazy to think that?

  • I don't know what you are talking about. I am talking about the FACT that HIV is the causal agent of AIDS. Now when you feel like growing up, perhaps we can have an intelligent conversation.

But somehow I think you lack the basic intelligence.

  • You stay positive and keep seeking life my dear.. You will make it through this trial and God loves us all.

  • Justin, do you date black? I have a mad crush on you.

  • I am thrilled to hear that your viral load is undetectable and the T cell count 400. I am sad to hear that you are having problems with jaundice. You look great to me!

  • why no title

  • Hi Justin! I was so excited that you gave us a shout-out! Congrats on your accomplishments and keep up the good work :-)

    (From Molly at UNC)

  • I felt you about to tear up when i watched this. We are STRONG BLACK BROTHERS. Keep hope my nig. U will be fine.

  • Oh Justin! I can't even finish watching this video. My eyes are just tearing up man. I can be so emotional about people whether it involves sadness, pain, happiness, love and etc. I am sitting here with my head down and I know saying sorry want make a difference in your life, but know that through it all, God is by your side. :-) Much Luv, Terell

  • Hi Justin, hope your eyes are doing better now... But did anybody tell you that no matter what they shine... at least on this video, which despite the serious content I have been watching with a smile on my face... as if you were directly speaking to me. Beautiful!

  • The yellow color in your eyes is known as jaundice. It is due from the increased bilirubin in your blood deposited in your skin due to the inability of your liver to break it down. Have them check your serum alanine transferase and aspartate transferase levels. I hope all is well.

  • I am hoping and praying that with the current research going on and you staying under control that that quilt will not ever get to AIDs day quilt because you are going to fight this and with God's help beat this and stay with us to continue encouraging those out there and dong what you are doing. We want you to live and I have faith that there will be a cure one day

  • Sometimes the HIV meds are hard on the liver and she probably wants to check your liver enzymes to be sure it isnt damaging or isnt too hard on your liver.

  • Do you know of or have any criticism regarding the ELISA, Western Blot and PCR tests?

  • What tests confirmed your diagnosis.

What exactly did these tests detect?

  • Halfasheep. Which diagnosis I have many lol Which test are you speaking of I have had many lol

  • Be wary of halfasheep. He is an HIV denialist and will do/say anything to promote his cultish views.

Google "AIDS denialism wiki" for some information on the breed. If you want GOOD information be VERY selective about your sources. "The Body" is excellent.

A typical "denialist" misrepresentations is "there is no AIDS test." with the implication that no test, no AIDS. Of course there is no AIDS "test." There are HIV tests...

They lie by omission & misrepresentation.

  • Read the date on that one koolaid. You are 24 years behind the times....

In the meantime you might want to know that the causative agent of AIDS has been identified, isolated, grown in culture, sequenced, etc etc.

There is no longer any reasonable doubt. Hasn't been for over a decade. Get your nose out of your conspiracy web sites & stop trying to sell quack therapies.

  • yea, because to say something like, well, the government injected black men with syphillis and ghonorea and god knows what, locked them in a room just to watch their reactions, that would be a conspiracy theory for real. not like someone would call that the tuskegee experiments or anything, the government would never do anything like that. or that maybe the fda approved the sale of hiv infected aspirin to another country so as to not lose profit for a company, that would be madness. cooks

  • U SHOULD MAKE A BOOK

  • Justin, you do have reason to be scared if you remain in the CLUTCHES of the HIV/AIDS Establisment!

They'll do you in brother .. there's no doubt about that. You are such a DIVINE, adorable soul & deserve all the LOVE, COMPASSION & CONCERN that comes your way.

You don't have to worry about HIV - it means IMMUNITY! So relax!

Now get in touch with DAVID CROWE and/or Christine at:

That's where I truly HOPE to hear you again!

    Love you ..

  • Thank you Annie

  • My fine friend, I hope you listen to Annie's advice.

  • Having antibodies to a virus does not necessarily mean that your body is now immune to that virus. It only means that your body has been exposed to the virus (or to a vaccine) and has generated antibodies in response. The immune system is able to develop protective immunity to some viruses but not all viruses. Unfortunately, HIV is one of the viruses that the body is able to fight but not to eliminate and develop protective immunity against on its own.

  • Wussup pastell love you too thank you

  • Justin,

Just wanted to say God Bless You and what you are doing. It is videos like this that made me go get tested for the first time in my life at 38.

  • justin, you said you haven't been doin' the LUSH thing, but you probably shouldn't be drinking at all. yeah, i know, easier said than done, but with little issues popping up its best to play it safe. also, maybe i missed it in the journal, but how often do you exercise? the benefits of a regular cardio-vascular work-out can not be over stated.;

  • I agree but now that I have the Wii Fit man ohh man talk about 28 going on 58 man that things have me pooped

  • Start really researching the disease, the tests, the medications. Use numerous sources. Ask questions. Trust yourself.

  • I did thank you man I really got informed about it

  • Keep ya head up bro and don't think about going anywhere soon. I play Bid Whist with some dudes who have been surviving HIV for over 20 years already. They are some of the greatest bunch of hooligans, lol, you'd wanna meet. Be Blessed.

  • hey where is that? There do you guys play

  • We get together at ppl's apt, at a club downtown in NYC, and whereever else we can get a table. lol.

  • Yes, you ARE a strong individual. You might just have to switch meds. But, it'll be ok.

  • yeah I think I will be okay though I have to wait for the darn test though

  • Yes, you WILL be fine! I've had to switch meds a few times, and I'm doing well.

  • Hey Justin! Miss ya boi! Keep on keepin' on. Seize the day even when that damn day doesn't feel like being seized!! So nice from hearing from you!!!

    Sending a lingering hug!

  • Happy Thanksgiving back at you! You help me understand more about hiv and myself all the time.

  • Thank you poz

  • awesome video Justin, that is a cool honor. I love to see you smiling!

  • All the time :-)

  • Hi, Justin. I just wanted to tell you that you are a wonderful person. However I was on the same meds you are on currently. I was worried about the tent in my eyes as well. Trust me it will be OK. I know what and how you feel over the concerns. I am trying to deal with this as well, however it seems you are doing better then I am. The meds that I was changed to seems to work well. You just have to take it twice a day and none of the concerns that you are currently worried about.

  • Justin you never seem to amaze me. You are so strong and courages to continue your journal. Congrats on the journal/column also. Your mom seems like a beautiful woman alone with your family. You made me cry again talking about the quilt. Remember you will always be a child of GOD. I'll be praying for you daily.

  • Thank you hslovett how are you doing? I didn't mean to make you cry baby
