@EsperTinaVI try to listen the song of Celine Dion- power of the dreams composed by David Foster during the Atlanta Olympics. and i think this song inspired from that song... but yes, this song is great as well.
@aric2007 hahaha... wish mo kakaiba ah. sa London my Leona Lewis sila at maraming broadway talents sila. sa Rio, Im sure meron din sila doon. only miracle can do sa sanasabi mo.
i was not really impressed on beijing olympics. it was full of intriques, kumbaga, hindi lutong macau pero lutong beijing
the weakness of doha games is the accomodation of more than 10000 athletes and officials, but all in all, it really went to be the best asian games ever
Comparing the intense drama & beauty of the Doha Asian Games with the Beijing Olympics, it's just hands down to Qatar. For an Asian Games, they really went all the way and step up - i think even the Olympics were intrigued.
The best Opening & Closing Sports Ceremony ever. And Doha picked the perfect singer - Lea is simply wonderful.
2nd would be the Atlanta Olympic Games, that was fun!
Wow! galing talaga ni Leah..gusto ko sana ang lyrics and soundtrack sa kantana 'to ..but where can i find it? my project kasi anak ko para sa pre winter olympics conference d2 sa calgary , tapus na pili ang anak ko to sing one song ( inspirational song/ achievement) this coming January 19,20,21... plssssss. if anyone know where I find this song.. greatly appreciated.
Wow..Lea is awesome..I hope we can host the 2018 Asian Games. Clark and Subic are two great potential venues. Built the stadium in Clark both for the indoor and outdoor sports. Make Subic the location of the water sports. Clark and subic are terrific sites because of natural sceneries they have like mountain ranges, river and sea.

actually the song is just ordinary (no belting or whatever) with inspiring lyrics BUT what made it amazing is LEA SALONGA singing. she can sing a very bad song but with that voice make us all swoon over.
wow!!!such a beautiful finale!!!!napanood ko to sa TV at talagang namangha ako sa galing ni Lea!!!truly she is a living legend in our country...she made us proud and she realizes us how to love and be proud to our country...go Lea!!!!
Even country won 4 golds...Lea Salonga made Philippines be on the top of Asian Games...The spirit of that game was express deeply by her! That song was one of the greatest I ever heard and its like Lea's single eventhough it is an Australian composed!
She deserve to sing this because she is truly as triumph of the Asian race. As predicted in AsiaWeek, she will be one of Asia's future Greats. In 20 years, she will be a living legend
LEA Salonga has performed for three American Presidents (George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush) and for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana
beautiful,..i love watching people winning with there team and brought that pride to there country,.respect the athlete. thanks for Lea for felling the missing color that day.

Oh my God this song is so amazing and moving. I had goosebump everytime i hear this song. It is so inspiring. And Lea Salonga really give life to the song.
grabeh tong si lea sa 3 minutes 30 seconds lang ata hindi nakatindig balahibo ko... haaay grabeh! i miss you lea.... now im using happee toothpaste because of u
pls vote for Lea Salonga at voote website (u know what letters come before and after the "voote" word, can't post it here) as Hottest Female of Asian Origin
and so is the philippine scops owl. npanood nyo ba ung jessica soho reports bout rafflesia? ok din un. bsta kahit ano nlng. gawa pla ako logo. hehe. bigay kayo idea wat the logo would look like.
haha! by that time uugod-ugod na si Lea. Isip tayo mas bata na may potential. It might even end up with Julia Roman-Abueva. By that time mejo mtnda na sya. mejo malaki na boses nya nun. wadja think?
THE 18TH ASIAN GAMES-MANILA 2018, "UNITED IN ONE HERITAGE"
Gusto ko lng malaman kung ano sa tingin nio.. pero i really wish she could do that... im looking forward to it,, i just wanna know in advance kung ano reactions ng mga tao,,,,
guys, im drafting a mock perspective of a simple Sports park. hehe.. post ko ung drawing sa Sports Events Enthusiasts group s frendster. Simple lng yun. May monument and a thin torch. di ko na ginawang curved ung stadium kasi karamihan curved. its elongated octagon. haha. post ko as soon as mkulayan. binagay ko lng s budget na kaya ng pinas. haha!
dont think so.. ang wushu ba nkpasok na? i think di pa. ganun din sepak takraw eh mas sikat pa un sa arnis. siguro puntiryahin muna ng arnis ang Asian Games before Olympics.
well i think mganda talaga anf rafflesia as a national mascott, let we think of this guys,db puro animals nalang lagi ang gnagawang official mascott sa mga games, cguro we should try rafflesia naman kc db first time lang nagkaroun ng plant as a official mascott??tapus naging first pa tau sa mga games history i think,,exotic but extra ordinary ryt???hehe
Even if it'll be anywhere else in Metro Manila, the games will still be called Manila edition because of the metropolis. Like wat's done in the 2004 Athens Olympics, there were at least 3 more cities included. Volos lang ntandaan ko. The capital will still earn the rights, not QC khit dun p gawin accordng to PSC.
Guys, npanood ko s TV Patrol World ung isang owl na endemic s pilipinas. The Philippine Scops Owl or Otus Megalotis. Ok din un. a cute little owl living in the cordilleras.
ok din ang butanding, pero to say that this is distinct in our country is so untrue. whale sharks inhabits world's tropical and warm-temperate oceans. there are concentrations on ningaloo reef australia, tanzania and honduras. at hindi lang tayo ang may whale sharks "sight-seing expeditions" meron din sa ningaloo reef at holbox and contoy, mexico to name a few.
Kasi, once a monument sets its foundations on a site, it'll be there forever. Bsides, manila is an unplanned city. umusbong lang to bigla unlike Baguio and Washington DC. Paranaque or Munti, pede rin ksi spacious at mlapit s mggndang subdivisions.
Even if QC is the richest, the government will still have to spend much to beautify QC. Government pa rin mas malaking gastos kesa city-government. Besides, its not even the best performing city.
BUTANDING na lng! primary source of living and tourism in Sorsogon di ba?
At isa pa, it might be the largest flower in the world pero ito rin ang pinakamabaho. anyways, guys kung ang doha asiad may slogan na "the games of your life" ano naman suggestion nyo para sa'tin? eto sakin:
Manila Asian Games 2018: The Heart Of All Games
mascot: luzon bleeding-heart dove
gusto ko ang mga bleeding hearts kasi
1. only in the philippines, endemic satin
2.unique siya among other bird species dahil sa vivid red color at the center of their white breasts, walang ibang meron nyan.
aside the richest cities in the philippines QUEZON CITY is more reasonable. it became the richest city sa pinas and always be kaya dito mas pede tayuan ng stadium o monument =)
there's already a monument in QC kea unreasonable na na magtayo pa ulit ng isa. besides, pasay is a very great potential coz of the reclamated area and there's no current monument there. napakaredundant naman yata pag two monuments s QC. at pag nilagay sa pasay, proportion na. may monument sa Caloocan and on pasay on the other end. tapos may Quezon memorial sa qc which is east of manila. diba? one on the north, south and east. la na sa west kasi dagat na.

well dubai is making a lot of buzz lately. a lot of skyscrapers are being built. their government is diversifying their economy from one that is trade-based (and oil-reliant)to one that is service- and tourism-oriented. kayang-kaya naman nilang gawin yun eh, with their vast oil reserves anything is possible. about burj dubai, the final height is being kept a secret because of competititors. marami kasing nagbabalak na taasan pa ang taas ng burj dubai, isa na dito ang Al Burj.
To add to it, Malaysia has already hosted at least 5 SEA Games. Did you know that we, students can also pass a bid? thats wat beijing did for 2008. I dont know how pero the students of various universities conducted and passed the proposal to the government. sana tayo din.
by 2018, im already 28 years old kea cguro naman industrialized country na tyo nun. haha! yeah. mas maganda ang sports city. like Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, kumpleto na dun kea lng mliit. yeah, I heard about Dubai. And theyr constructng the soon-to-be highest bldg, Burj Dubai. sosi
dubai in its bid for the 2014 asiad is also considering to construct what they called "Dubai Sports City". i wanted to paste the links pero hindi pala tinatanggap ng youtube ang mga URL. sayang, i want your comments on this, i think kaya naman natin, basta tuloy tuloy na ang pag asenso ng pinas diba? total malayo pa ang 2018.
ang suggestion ko lang, instead of building just a sports stadium bakit di nalang isang sports city ang iconstruct natin. para hindi na hassle ang palipatlipat ng location ng mga athletes at spectators alike kasi nasa isang place lang. london is building one for the 2012 olympics tawag nila "olympic park".
malaysia had 17.55 million tourists last year, while thailand had only 13.8 m international visitors. kuala lumpur will be a big threat to our bid, remember how upset they were when they did not win for the bid in the 2006 asiad (against doha). if ever they'll bid malaki ang chance nila, aside sa financial aspects, they already have the experience in hosting mega-sporting events. malaysia hosted the '98 commonwealth games.
yeah. agree ako na Malaysia ang may biggest foreign tourist sa ASEAN because of a number of world-class spots and attractions there. Kasama na ang Petronas na racing circuit na dinadayo ng mga race enthusiasts, di pa kasama ang Petronas towers, ang aquarium s KL and they're beaches. Malaysia is one of the richest countries here in Asia. and they have a greater potential to win bids that us and viet nam.
oh yeah!!!!narinig ko yan sa mga foreign news!!!sa totoo lang nauungusan na talaga tau ng vietnam!!!!is it ryt na ang malaysia ang may biggest foreign tourist is whole ASEAN????
and take note, naunahan na tayo ng vietnam sa number of tourist arrivals. vietnam welcomed 3.26 foreign tourists in the first 11 months of 2006. samantalang tayo we only had 2.84 million visitors in 2006 short of our target of 3 million. if the government is really serious about its bid then they should focus on developing the economy first. pero in fairness din naman second naman tayo with vietnam in terms of growth, 5.1% ('05) and 5.4% ('06). pero still mahina parin compared to vietnam.
yes, vietnam is experiencing high growth. they posted the highest gdp growth rate in southeast asia for two years in a row (2005-06) and the World Bank estimated it to grow 8% in 2007-08. while ADB predicts that Vietnam can obtain a GDP growth rate of 8.3% in 2007 and 8.5% in 2008. this is alarming, with this growth hindi malayong maungusan tayo ng vietnam.
Apparently, she has no fear of heights. Or of dying. I would've been terrified to be up there.

guys, im drafting a mock perspective of a simple Sports park. hehe.. post ko ung drawing sa Sports Events Enthusiasts group s frendster. Simple lng yun. May monument and a thin torch. di ko na ginawang curved ung stadium kasi karamihan curved. its elongated octagon. haha. post ko as soon as mkulayan. binagay ko lng s budget na kaya ng pinas. haha!

dont think so.. ang wushu ba nkpasok na? i think di pa. ganun din sepak takraw eh mas sikat pa un sa arnis. siguro puntiryahin muna ng arnis ang Asian Games before Olympics.

well i think mganda talaga anf rafflesia as a national mascott, let we think of this guys,db puro animals nalang lagi ang gnagawang official mascott sa mga games, cguro we should try rafflesia naman kc db first time lang nagkaroun ng plant as a official mascott??tapus naging first pa tau sa mga games history i think,,exotic but extra ordinary ryt???hehe

bhorum 4 years ago
Even if it'll be anywhere else in Metro Manila, the games will still be called Manila edition because of the metropolis. Like wat's done in the 2004 Athens Olympics, there were at least 3 more cities included. Volos lang ntandaan ko. The capital will still earn the rights, not QC khit dun p gawin accordng to PSC.

swoopledom 4 years ago
ok din ang butanding, pero to say that this is distinct in our country is so untrue. whale sharks inhabits world's tropical and warm-temperate oceans. there are concentrations on ningaloo reef australia, tanzania and honduras. at hindi lang tayo ang may whale sharks "sight-seing expeditions" meron din sa ningaloo reef at holbox and contoy, mexico to name a few.

Kasi, once a monument sets its foundations on a site, it'll be there forever. Bsides, manila is an unplanned city. umusbong lang to bigla unlike Baguio and Washington DC. Paranaque or Munti, pede rin ksi spacious at mlapit s mggndang subdivisions.
swoopledom 4 years ago
Even if QC is the richest, the government will still have to spend much to beautify QC. Government pa rin mas malaking gastos kesa city-government. Besides, its not even the best performing city.
swoopledom 4 years ago
BUTANDING na lng! primary source of living and tourism in Sorsogon di ba?
swoopledom 4 years ago

At isa pa, it might be the largest flower in the world pero ito rin ang pinakamabaho. anyways, guys kung ang doha asiad may slogan na "the games of your life" ano naman suggestion nyo para sa'tin? eto sakin:
Manila Asian Games 2018: The Heart Of All Games
mascot: luzon bleeding-heart dove
gusto ko ang mga bleeding hearts kasi
1. only in the philippines, endemic satin
2.unique siya among other bird species dahil sa vivid red color at the center of their white breasts, walang ibang meron nyan.
crazyhart 4 years ago
crazyhart 4 years ago
aside the richest cities in the philippines QUEZON CITY is more reasonable. it became the richest city sa pinas and always be kaya dito mas pede tayuan ng stadium o monument =)
bhorum 4 years ago
there's already a monument in QC kea unreasonable na na magtayo pa ulit ng isa. besides, pasay is a very great potential coz of the reclamated area and there's no current monument there. napakaredundant naman yata pag two monuments s QC. at pag nilagay sa pasay, proportion na. may monument sa Caloocan and on pasay on the other end. tapos may Quezon memorial sa qc which is east of manila. diba? one on the north, south and east. la na sa west kasi dagat na.
swoopledom 4 years ago

well dubai is making a lot of buzz lately. a lot of skyscrapers are being built. their government is diversifying their economy from one that is trade-based (and oil-reliant)to one that is service- and tourism-oriented. kayang-kaya naman nilang gawin yun eh, with their vast oil reserves anything is possible. about burj dubai, the final height is being kept a secret because of competititors. marami kasing nagbabalak na taasan pa ang taas ng burj dubai, isa na dito ang Al Burj.
crazyhart 4 years ago
To add to it, Malaysia has already hosted at least 5 SEA Games. Did you know that we, students can also pass a bid? thats wat beijing did for 2008. I dont know how pero the students of various universities conducted and passed the proposal to the government. sana tayo din.
swoopledom 4 years ago
by 2018, im already 28 years old kea cguro naman industrialized country na tyo nun. haha! yeah. mas maganda ang sports city. like Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, kumpleto na dun kea lng mliit. yeah, I heard about Dubai. And theyr constructng the soon-to-be highest bldg, Burj Dubai. sosi
swoopledom 4 years ago
dubai in its bid for the 2014 asiad is also considering to construct what they called "Dubai Sports City". i wanted to paste the links pero hindi pala tinatanggap ng youtube ang mga URL. sayang, i want your comments on this, i think kaya naman natin, basta tuloy tuloy na ang pag asenso ng pinas diba? total malayo pa ang 2018.
crazyhart 4 years ago
ang suggestion ko lang, instead of building just a sports stadium bakit di nalang isang sports city ang iconstruct natin. para hindi na hassle ang palipatlipat ng location ng mga athletes at spectators alike kasi nasa isang place lang. london is building one for the 2012 olympics tawag nila "olympic park".
crazyhart 4 years ago
malaysia had 17.55 million tourists last year, while thailand had only 13.8 m international visitors. kuala lumpur will be a big threat to our bid, remember how upset they were when they did not win for the bid in the 2006 asiad (against doha). if ever they'll bid malaki ang chance nila, aside sa financial aspects, they already have the experience in hosting mega-sporting events. malaysia hosted the '98 commonwealth games.
crazyhart 4 years ago
yeah. agree ako na Malaysia ang may biggest foreign tourist sa ASEAN because of a number of world-class spots and attractions there. Kasama na ang Petronas na racing circuit na dinadayo ng mga race enthusiasts, di pa kasama ang Petronas towers, ang aquarium s KL and they're beaches. Malaysia is one of the richest countries here in Asia. and they have a greater potential to win bids that us and viet nam.
swoopledom 4 years ago
guys!!!do you think in the near future makaka bid din tau para sa olgympic games????cguro kung deadbol na taung lahat!!hehe, joke lng po
labanosalley 4 years ago
oh yeah!!!!narinig ko yan sa mga foreign news!!!sa totoo lang nauungusan na talaga tau ng vietnam!!!!is it ryt na ang malaysia ang may biggest foreign tourist is whole ASEAN????
labanosalley 4 years ago
and take note, naunahan na tayo ng vietnam sa number of tourist arrivals. vietnam welcomed 3.26 foreign tourists in the first 11 months of 2006. samantalang tayo we only had 2.84 million visitors in 2006 short of our target of 3 million. if the government is really serious about its bid then they should focus on developing the economy first. pero in fairness din naman second naman tayo with vietnam in terms of growth, 5.1% ('05) and 5.4% ('06). pero still mahina parin compared to vietnam.
crazyhart 4 years ago
yes, vietnam is experiencing high growth. they posted the highest gdp growth rate in southeast asia for two years in a row (2005-06) and the World Bank estimated it to grow 8% in 2007-08. while ADB predicts that Vietnam can obtain a GDP growth rate of 8.3% in 2007 and 8.5% in 2008. this is alarming, with this growth hindi malayong maungusan tayo ng vietnam.
