Perfect model! My father used to work on these in 1950-51 for the USS FDR, USMC, VMF-224. (the only improvement possible is a wireless camera in a gun port, pilots eye view)

May I ask if you built the Panther from scratch or is it a kit? If it is a kit, where did you get it?

This Panther is self made (scale 1/5). Similar constructed as the kit from Airworld.

That is without a doubt the most realistic R/C model I have ever seen. Very nice indeed! I must say that Lt. Kohler looked a little scared before take off.

@MFGKirchdorf Wow, I'm very impressed. I love older Korean and Vietnam era jets. Hey have you ever thought about putting one of those first person camera systems in your Panther? How would Lt. Kohler feel about having a slewable camera mounted in his head and you could see live video as you fly? Check fpvpilot dot com if you're interested. Thanks for your comment. If you know that the camera is only a Panasonic 707 HD, so nothing special. Due to the fast plane it's not so easy to keep it inside the focus.
