Maybe you are not old enough to remember iran/iraq war when us gave all help to iraqis. us is irans enemy. All they want is to put their hands on iranian/iraqi oil/gas. Majority of North Americans prounance Iran, Ay Ran but as far as I remember Bush has never pronounce it like that.
