easiest way to do it is to just play with hdmi or whatever you like, then plug the dazzle into the av out on your tv (you'll need your own cable), don't plug it directly into a console or anything

I can do this... Just use the cable with composite cables and component cables... Plug the component cables into the tv and the composite cables into the dazzle and you're done!

Do you not even look at the resolutions of high def TV's in the stores? Most of the 720p TV's are not actually 1280 x 720. Most of them are slightly higher than that like the 1280 x 768 this person is using or more commonly 1368 x 768. As long as the horizontal and vertical resolutions equal or exceed 1280 x 720 then you can display a 720P signal on it. The XBOX 360 supports resolutions in between 720p and 1080p, but they are all HD.

@skinsrock89 i dont really have anything to record it with. but i can tell you quick. first you need the xbox vga cable and plug that into the vga in on the converter box. then on the vga out you need to use the vga cable that comes with it and plug it into the tv. then you use your other video cables and run them from the box to the dazzle. and your all good. hope this helps

@skinsrock89 you may get a little interference but i used it on a 32 and it wasnt noticeable. it probably will leave a small black bar on the right side but that is so it can keep the highest resolution without stretching the image. shouldnt effect the way you play

hey dude any chance you could help me with this as my xbox wont allow anything above 480p however the option for 720p is there and when i click it, it just changes back to 480p after 10 seconds :(

@xRajy93x what kind of cables are you using because all xbox's support hd content. if you are using component cables (red yellow white and blue green red) then make sure you have the little switch on it switched to HDTV

hey man you should try and change your record settings and see what you cant get I use the same set up and i am able to get 1680x1050 which happens to be the closest to 1080 you can get with a standard tv capturing device

@UnionsFinest7TB yea man i dont have a dazzle so its going to be a little different than dazzle but i have my settings sitting at NTSC_J_M on video record and then i have it recording as an AVI the program i use to edit is widows movie maker the only plus that dazzle has is the option to go to 16x9 resolution
