Could you please explain your signal chain? You mentioned guitar rig, pedals, amps, I am a newbie, looking for a nice sounding home set-up... Also, what gear did you use to record your video? I am looking to buy a PRS DGTas well in the near future. Do you think this guitar would be ok for pulling older Rush stuff??? So many questions, sorry!
Category 5 Andrew (ch1 tweed super/ch 2 blackface super) and PRS Super Dallas. I just need to do some more tweaking of the settings. Anyway love the tone and great chops. I bought a tobacco burst DGT 2 years ago and last year I picked up a 2nd w/ goldtop.
Did you roll the tone off of the bridge pickup a lot. I seem to have trouble getting the tone that thick on the bridge pickup. The highs can get piercing. Grissom and you can do it.

@musicisawaesome Thanks man! I wish I knew about DG when I was 14. I'm actually using Guitar Rig software! But that amps I like to use for this type of stuff are Fender Super Reverb, 65amps Lil Elvis, and a new amp I got called Tomaszewicz. Pedals are usually simple tube screamer type overdrives or boosts to push the amp a little.
@steelronkeel This monster tone was done on a software?? I might have to look into that! Yea I play a PRS 30 amp and I'm trying to get that thick DG/Davy Knowles tone out of it. The only problem is I have to crank it up LOUD. I think I might have to downsize to the sweet 16.

Very nice playing, i forgive the tiny mistakes because what is played right is spot on! The vibrato after the small llck around 1min 20 is amazing.

@Andrelix67 In short there is no music (played on guitar) that a nice American prs can't pull off, the DGT model even more so.
