Your project when seen by younger generation would be a good example for them to achieve and dream not only to be what you have depicted but they should try to be more responsible for themselves to achieve more in the future
Very nice =) And I'm impressed by the students, it looks like they really got into the project. I'm a little bit jealous actually, it would be nice to experience a day like that.
i hope tis opens the eyes of kids who are 'privileged' enough to live comfortable lives. hopefully they also get to value the efforts their parents do for them to provide said life.
What a great assignment. I too would have wanted to hear how it affected the students, but this is not a video documentary class. Congrats to the participants and to the teacher who assigned it!
congratulations to all the students....however I was really hoping to hear the insights, ruminations and feedback from them after the experience..... and not a music video. that said, i do hope that this immersion experience has planted something in each of the participants.
Immersion programs always are good. But I wish the video showcased what the students LEARNED about the lives of workers. The video is well-made but it is intellectually inconsequential, never wandering into even shallow thought or offering meaningful insight. In my opinion, it is a self-satisfied celebration of skill with the AV medium, and it lets me (only one audience member) miss the significance of the one-day immersion experience. Did the students miss it, too?
a different kind of social immersion. It is a kind of project that students in exclusive schools should have- something like this would make them more empathic.
Really hope you guys learned something from that one day in your lives. Reality is so much more blunt and brutal than classroom theories, but at the same time, can be enlightening if viewed with a positive attitude. Congratulations!
To have college students put themselves in the shoes of the ordinary man in the street is a commendable thing, I thought so then when my son Dino had to work in an auto detailing shop bent down with a trapo and toothbrush the whole day and an aching back when he got home.
A great project! I think every Filipino student here in our country should at least try and have an experience on what kind of life/job our "kababayans" have out there. Good job guys!
Good job! - simple black n white pictures that tell a lot of stories that is very Filipino. Congrats! Keep up the good work. May you bring this great experience of stepping into the shoes of ordinary men as you grow older and inspire others as well. God bless!
this is real life exposure for all of you. hope you all realize that you're lucky. i'm impressed that you were all "game" to take on the roles. well done
Wow... this is awesome... It really gives an insight on the lives of an ordinary Filipino person trying to make their way in life... Congratulations guys~!
