I've been thinking about this issue of "styles" in pole dancing for a while. There is definitely a "Canadian Pacific" or American Northwestern style. It's that corridor along Portland, Seattle, Vancouver. It seems to have an edgier, punkier "Attitude." It's a little tougher, more "club", more dominant, less submissive, faster, and just a little bit more "in your face..." I love it just as much as I love the "vertical ballet" from England. It's just a different thing--no pointed toes needed!

Yes, she is really fantastic. I'd love to see a slower performance routine, though. I don't mean this in any way to be negative--I just think her forms are so graceful I'd like to see longer poses. Hope this young lady comes to a Chicago club sometime for a show. She's great!

One word - "handy." You're just handy on that pole. You did things that I've never seen anyone else do, and that's due to a lot of physical awareness. You do things on the pole most people wish they could do on the floor - kudo's to you, because that was awesome.
