i don't know about which bmw you're talking about, but if it's the e36 1997 bmw no it isn't better from my rio in any way my father has a 1996 328i with manual transmission sure it's a lot faster but no does not steer better and it hits the ground if there's a hole or some bump on the road and shuts down or looses control but the rio takes them up at 80 km/h because it's higher but the e46 bmw received a 4.9/5 rating for steering the rio received 4.7 so it is better in some ways
