I saw Chris many times at rodeo events in the late 70's and early 80's in colorado, utah, and wyoming...He was always a class act...One if "us"! I hate how he died, yet I will never forget him...to this day he still inspires me! He had pride, he had dignity, he had a SOUL! GOOD MAN!
This Cowboy's Hat. Chris was the best. Very underplayed singer i think. True western. His band is now on tour I believe also, they are great Western Underground. R.I.P. Ride In Peace
i dont understand why everyone wants to say no it happened this way.. HELLO.. go to google type chris ledoux and it will put it up for u.. not saying it alwas will be right but u got 100 articles saying hte same its proble right... THESE R THE FACTS HE WAS A AMAZING BRONC RIDER AND SINGER!!! R.I.P. CHRIS!!!
On March 9th I'm asking all Chris LeDoux fans to call their radio stations to request his music. Let radio know that even though he is gone we will NEVER forget this great man.
Please pass the word on to all country music fans.
His disease was caused by Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. I KNOW, I have the same disease,I don't smoke, chew, or even now drink alcohol .They do not know what causes this. BELIEVE ME I know, I was doing a study for the U. Ne. Medical Center where he had his liver transplant,They stopped the study because there is nothing that helps. I know, I've been there. I have the same DR. Chris had, the BEST there are. There is nothing they can do, except when I'm really bad, have a transplant.
tobacco is not what caused his problems. The liver disease he had is Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. I know, I have it,too. I have never smoked,or chewed, & only drank alcohol a little. There is NO KNOWN CAUSE for this disease. Only a transplant can change things, & that may not work. You are more likely to develope cancer of the bile ducts, which is what happened to Chris. I was doing the study for the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he had his transplant. NOTHING HELPS
I used to listen to Chris Loudex when I was 17, I am 30 now and just learned today that he passed away, that is so sad I really liked him but with chasing 8 kids around I guess I have been in the dark. Good vidio by the way
CHRIS LEDOUX IS DEAD! This is the first I heard.I thought he was alive and kicking (ass).Sorry to hear it. Loved him in 5 dollar fine with Garth.Man,he will be missed. What else can be said?
He did die of cancer but from all I heard he was never much of a boozer read the book "Gold Buckel Dreams" if you want to know more abot him. Just because you get liver cancer dose not make you a drunk!
What can i say! I Think so too. But its make my happy when i hear him Songs. Ich werde dich nie vergessen!! Du warst für mich ein HELD! Patricia from Germany
and he would not piss on rick perry if the fraud was on fire.

Chris Ledoux won the world in 1976 in the bareback riding. Not 1972. The PRCA did not come about until 1976, before that it was the RCA.
