I'm not a fan of Mitt, but he did turn around the Olympics in Salt Lake City. They were supposedly over-budget and behind schedule, and they brought him in as a fix-it-guy to organize the effort and get it back on track.

I believe the point is... Mitt is a fix-it-man. The Olympics was behind schedule and over budget, so they brought him on to fix it. Massachusetts was over budget with horribly managed government bureaucracies. So they brought him on as a fix-it-man.

The country is in need of repair, now, so who you call? Fix-it-man.

(This is not my personal opinion, however. I voted for Ron Paul). ;)

He says he was against spending, but the cost of the war so far outweighs any other spending he vetoed! i always laugh when a candidate makes a point, really accents the ending, noticeably expects applause, doesn't get any, then takes that little "aw shit" pause before going on with their speech.
