If you watched Romney's victory speech for NH Primary 2012, he criticized Obama for bringing change, and not bringing restoration. But when you look at this video, he's all about change. How ironic.
Romney was anti-war in the 60's and went to France as a missionary thanks to his cult. Ironically, we were in Vietnam because the French pulled out. His grandfather deserted the US army so its no surprise.
Maby if america actually "co-operated" with the UN significantly and in the true sense of the word the UN might actually have enough power to generate change but IF AMERICA STAYS OBSESSED ABOUT HOW THEY ARE VIEWED IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD (because they don't want to appear week)THEN THEY WILL ALWAYS UNDERMINE THE MISSION OF THE UN PEACE KEEPERS.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS GLOBAL CO-OPERATION IN GERMANY, AMERICA, ISRAYEL, IRAN, ETC,ETC,ETC......
they side step important issue with sloganeering and fear mongering, they drown out the complaints about the failing of their history in politics by over evangelizing and over estimating the very minimal good things that they have done. none of these people (not even Obama now) hold a peaceful future in their hands in the whole debate about the middle east conflict i didn't hear 1 example of how america is working with the UN on these issues. they are al liers.
Ron Paul is the only one not sounding like a politician...the rest of them speak in cliches and rely on the same talking points and campaign phrases--especially McCain the fraud.
I agree, and I feel like the other candidates get a lot of leniency in time, whereas they are quick to cut Ron Paul off. I would have liked to hear more of his ideas.
Hm...we should put a lie detector on everyone! That would make things soo much simplier, anyone agree? Than they would have to tell the truth muhahaha.
Mitt Romney "turned around" the olympics? What the hell did he do to affect them? Add fireworks and a soundtrack by Nelly? Come on. I guess he and Al Gore are workin on a brand new technology to create oil from coal.
I'm not a fan of Mitt, but he did turn around the Olympics in Salt Lake City. They were supposedly over-budget and behind schedule, and they brought him in as a fix-it-guy to organize the effort and get it back on track.
I believe the point is... Mitt is a fix-it-man. The Olympics was behind schedule and over budget, so they brought him on to fix it. Massachusetts was over budget with horribly managed government bureaucracies. So they brought him on as a fix-it-man.
The country is in need of repair, now, so who you call? Fix-it-man.
(This is not my personal opinion, however. I voted for Ron Paul). ;)
I used to be a big McCain fan, but a few years back, I saw him getting all hawkish for the war in Iraq, since then he's been little but a tool for the NWO.
Does McCain have anything to say about his 25 years on the gravy train in DC, other than he sent more young people to die in Iraq and that generations will pay for the cost? He says he was against spending, but the cost of the war so far outweighs any other spending he vetoed! I'd rather he agreed to some spending on inner city literacy in the US than bombing schools in Baghdad, then rebuilding them.
honestly i was dissapointed with paul in the new hampshire debate, and thought romney won.. but paul came back stronger then ever before in this debate and kicked the shit out of everyone else..
I totally agree... in NH he didn't seem confident, and they attacked him like a pack of wolves. This time Ron was prepared for them, and not only held his ground but went on the attack! Go Ron Paul!!
i always laugh when a candidate makes a point, really accents the ending, noticeably expects applause, doesn't get any, then takes that little "aw shit" pause before going on with their speech.
what bothers me is this whole 'abide by the rules' to achieve the 'American dream' bullsh*t. everyone seems to be taking that stance (which looks like diluted rugged individualism to me), then says 'let's give amnesty to illegal aliens.'
Gee Fred, get it right it was Ron Paul who said that about the middle east, not what you and your friend Sen. McCain's biggest political foe and our frontrunner in SC - Gov Huckabee-Fred you are deluded. John you want amnesty for illegal aliens, that is you and your good friend Ted Kennedy.

somehow somethin which occurs every 4 years is not comparable to a full time position

Mitt's position of Governor of MA was also only a 4-year position. His work for the Olympic Committee was even shorter.

McCain: "I've never asked for an earmark or pork-barrel project for my state."
That's a lie. He asked for $10 million for... damn. It was on a video here on YouTube. Pat Buchanan and someone (maybe Tucker) were talking about it.
