  • everything looks cooler when asians dressed as black people are doing it :D

  • when it comes to footwork, to me technicality is not as essential as letting the music flow through you. That's why we're dancing isn't it?

  • whats the second song ??

  • wow babylon has some fresh footwork

  • I love the murderer of pure dance beats born

  • IT'S BABYLON

  • Born style seeeeeeeee

  • It's Babylon not Baviron.

  • born IS *

  • see that scratch and that scratch and that scratch over there? yeah born made them while he was killing the beat.

  • born kill beat

  • YEAAAAAH

  • does born ever ran out of move to show.

  • I think Baviron did a lil bit of too much standing up while transitioning to each section of his footwork in that last set. But he's hella dope and i didn't know about him but i'm all over his videos now.

  • Footworks : Fluidez, Ritmo, Originalidad.

  • fuck power its good and flashi but style remains supreme

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the beat from 1:04 to 1:33, please?

  • @HeyBenjo doesnt exist anymore because born killed it

  • 2nd song please...

  • lol born's shirt says run dmz

  • guy on the right has way more flavor

  • Wooooe spettacolo XD Like

  • what kind of shoes is born wearing here?

  • Born first round.......dam<3

  • It's babylon..

  • Baviron (on the right) won in my opinion.

  • wow, that was like a breath of fresh air.

  • I think Born is more stylish.

  • both sick XD i wish i got their flow

  • For those of you who say right shouldve won, Born clearly won this one. He WAS a bit slower than the right guy but he hit more beats and had more flavor. Bboying is about listening to the music. The right guy just had flashy moves but wasn't listening to the music.

  • sick foots.

    songs? anyone?

  • tweaker steez

    haha

  • bboy=respect--->respect=good battle

  • to be honest the right won in my opinion....

  • so much respect from each other. that's beautiful man! that's what breaking is about, respect.

  • wo's born? left or right?

  • @mrbboypaul LEFT!

  • ..guau.....that´s a greaatt battle of footwork...

  • 1st song : rare breakbeats B1 footwork finals

  • BOTH bboys are awesome!!

I think born won cause he was more on beat?

  • Man you can tell a real bboy spot by the floor. On another note so much respect between these two good to see

  • the guy who is siting left is wearing a mask (for doctors) always the same with those people XD

  • haha you can see napalm in the back just having a field day with this one

  • i'm too lazy to see if the songs are posted already sorry.

both songs are loop and speeded up i think.

first: ZZ Top - It's Only Love

second: King Errisson - Well, Have a Nice Day

  • i love the judges facial expressions when born was killin the beat

  • This was such a close match, too bad redfoot wasnt here =(

  • I like baviron's style

  • ideas ideas.

  • baviron..my god...his head...Respect! :D

  • wats the first song?

  • I dnt know what every one else was smoking but born clearly won that it was cleaness versus plain creativity in the end born was beteter no offense.

  • although I like Born, but Baviron's footworks are fresh! Baviron shud be the winner~

  • second song?

  • Cool battle. I thought Baviron won. He had a better form, clean, and his funkiness definitely showed throw out the round, with his head movements...

  • HOLY FCKN FOOTWORK

  • nope.

  • I'm just pointing out it's a Footwork comp for a reason... half the time birvon was standin up.. so if you go to a Power comp with half Power and half footwork you wouldn't win...

  • no baviron was NOT standing up half the time.. you are out of your mind brother..

  • and these Comp used to be with Machine before he moved down to SO Cal... but I still see Ray Nasty and Cloud once in a While...

  • @seighart2909 I'm not hating I'm just stating what I see also I mention it wasn't meant to disrespect him...

@caliballer925 He has clean tops but it's not a competition for tops so it's basically pointless... I mean it's like going to a Power competition with a few flares and then footwork everything else... I'n The Jams I got to arn't as big but they are aroudn the Bay area and if you do a little bit of tops in a footwork comp you get DQed... after the first set...

  • well, he has clean tops, so what. i understand that it is a footwork competition but having good tops shouldnt change the judges minds really. even back to the footwork, it felt that baviron had an overall more steady sense of musicality and flow to his dance during both of his sets.

  • i love it when people ask what bboys wear.. i bet you don't know what kind of hat bavi has on!

  • What kind of jeans Born wear?

  • Baviron is too focused on trying to make himself look clean that he forgot the purpose of what kind of competition it was... I'm not trying to cap on him or anything I do have respect for him but people who can't understand the meaning of a footwork comp shouldn't watch this at all..(not to sound negative/offensive)

  • bro.. what he did was 'footwork'

really depends on the judge cuz

some judges dont even count illusionsweep, pretzels, undersweep, threaded footork as footwork.

but i believe him going from hands - feet - hand was par of his 'footwork'.

he was standing up just as much as born

he didnt do any powermoves or tricks between his footworks..

i honestly think born took it cuz of creativity

    and variations.

but baviron was clean as fuck and was to the point.

  • I could see why people would pick Baviron but the judgement of this battle isn't to have clean spins while you are standing up... this is a footwork comp... if you arn't doing footwork then there is no point of the battle...

  • @Ruan073091 lol hater...

  • ya...i thought so...thats why born win. :)

  • @Ruan073091

he was doing footwork, clean footwork at that, i think the reason why people felt that baviron should have won is cuz he had overall more flavor than born. dont get me wrong im not trying to take anything away from born, but baviron's sets were both consistent while born's second set sorta lacked and looked a little sloppy at one point. the clean spins that he was doing flowed with his first set, which made the set more complete, a footwork can have tops in it and still be good

  • I think borns had more flava and creativity, variations but he messed up noticibly couple times.

but baviron had very clean flow and was to the point and neve messed up.

  • first song?

  • born is dope but i think Baviron should of took it

  • @KimchiIsGood

    yeah stupid.

  • Baviron was cleaner in his sets, but the judges were feeling Born's breaks to the beat in this one.

If they were looking for cleanliness, then I believe that Baviron would've won.

    Really close match :)

  • It seems like Baviron has a lot of groupies, hahaha.

  • born hit the beats, and had a lot more flow to the music than bboy baviron. although bboy baviron has very quick footwork, and although it was VERY smooth. it didnt really fit in with the music if u listen.

  • Precise and Flow mean, every moves you throw gotta make sense and connect together. In other word, it relate to consistency. Precise to be exact, every moves you make is accurate and not a sloppy freestyle throw. Flow is to transit in and out from move to move, which have to make sense so it make the move smooth etc. however your style is.

  • There's a reason that there is breaks playing. So bboys can rock it.

  • but still, thats not all footwork is about!!! you're not getting my point.

  • dope battle and dude, born was on beat so saying his footwork was 'slow' is a stupid thing to say -_-

I hate it when people think fast footwork is the best footwork, same thing for power

  • @LawkSam

    amen to that bro

  • @LawkSam Powermoves are meant to be executed as many times per count possible in regards to power battles, js. But yeah I agree: fast footwork isn't always the best footwork.

  • dope battle

i have to say though born's footwork seems a little slow in this one, not hating just what i think.

  • bboy baviron is better than bboy born in this battle .

  • Damn hella clear video. Sick ass venue too.

  • OMG. I love Baviron's footwork, and Born is killing the beat on the first round. Amazing!

  • What is this Jam? In Korea? Who hosts? How old? haha dope battle and thanks in advance to the person who answers those questions

  • This is a jam that took place in Osaka, Japan earlier this year.

  • looks like footwork-Airflares 1:14 =) crazy but very cool

  • what's the second song, does anyone know

  • Born Win *___*

  • im the biggest born dickrider and theres no way he won that

  • lol comment of the year

  • Variety, No repetiion, Creativity, Hitting Beats more more effectively.

  • well than your obviously not a bboy

  • hah

but i do agree that i think babylon (baviron) took it

  • the judge is just like AHHH SHIT THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME lol

  • yeah but this specific mix is LUDI-Hopping Guitar

  • Whats the name of the first song? when the battle starts

  • ZZ Top - It's Only Love

  • dam i been lookin for the first song ever since i saw this vid. funny thing yesterday i was sessionin with a friend and his bboy mix cd had this song in it. i dont know the name of it but if u guys want i can upload it onto youtube

  • yeah could you upload it? :D

  • are you kidding, born took this easy.

  • @filojason

Yeah he took it man but It wasn't that easy. Baviron brought it hard too.

  • where can i get those red pants? are they dickies? what type?

  • @terrion4543 yeah dickies and they're mad cheap in japan

  • Terrell is this you? Haha, if this is your youtube username, I see your comments on alot of videos hahaha.

  • round by round

    first round BABYLON not baviron

    second born

  • 1st song name plz

  • whats the first song?????? pleaseeeeeee

  • very very dope battle, it was hella close, but i would give it to born.....think he was hittin more beats. But mad props to Baviron, he was very dope too. pys

  • I'm not the one to hop on the Born bandwagon and say, "ZOMG BBOY BORN IS DA BEST!"

But I would call this battle to Born. Baviron was clean and had some footwork techs, but Born had footwork techniques as well. I think he had more variety, and musicality as well. Baviron did dope though, someone to look out for. Props to both bboys.

Anyone know the first song? I've been looking for that one.

  • I feel baviron.

  • Comment removed

  • very nice and close battle. if baviron did more on his 2nd set he prob woulda won. but off of what this clip shows, born won. but it was very close

  • sick battle gotta love the footwork no need to hate and say born didnt deserve the win both did hella good

  • Born = more musicality

    Baviron = more techs

Boils down to what the judges were looking for.

  • no way in hell born took it! Baviron smoked the beat. dope battle.

  • born is good at footwork, but his real strength is how he meshes blowups, power, tricks, and hits them on beat. it doesn't really surprise me to see that Baviron definitely did better; only Born dickriders would say that Born won outright, cuz Born is not really a hard-core footwork bboy. gj to both tho

  • @flyskyairflair it all comes down to how well you express yourself through natural flow and flava with a given beat. Of course Baviron was generally hitting beat to certain extent, but he was more focused on trying to make his footwork creative rather than naturally expressing to the beat. This is a footwork battle, the most foundational bronx style battle, and the key is the beat! It's not about making it look nice. Born took this and no one is dickriding

  • babylon took this shiiiitttt

  • lol the anouncin of the winner was funny

  • born killed it

  • both are dope

  • Have to give this to born though his footwork's no where near what it used to be. But in this one he rocked hard on beats and had fresher stuff than the other guy's sick footwork. Remember kids! Creativity is key!

  • what do you mean borns footwork is nowhere what it used to be?

just curious a lot of people say born is getting weaker,

but i personally think hes growing as a bboy

  • Well, if you were to compare his footwork in this vid to the footwork he did back in 06/07 like in the Armory Cup battles, especially during the one where Rivers went up against Jinjo, the difference should be pretty obvious. There's just something that just doesn't seem to be there anymore. And back then he used to be kind of the Korean bboy Machine in the sense that his throw downs were fresh and rarely repeated. You can see him doing the same set in about 3 out of 5 vids nowadays.

  • yeah i have that dvd i can see what your saying

i dont know man i just think he lost some speed,

but picked up a lot more flavor,

flavor in the sense that hes doing things no one has seen before.

for example in this battle i haven't seen him

do anything ive seen him done before

and in ibe 2008 he his throwdowns were still pretty fresh

  • he got soul now! adds meaning to his moves

  • agreed

  • i agree i think Baviron took that hands down

  • i don't think born take this .
