I love this. To me, where Bruce Wayne loses his parents as a child in Batman Begins is where American Psycho begins. Bruce went fucking nuts when his parents died and became Patrick Bateman. After a lot of "soul searching" he decides to help the weak and becomes the Batman. He is now Bateman/Batman and in The Dark Knight you see how fucking insane he still is, except he uses his insanity to fight "evil". Ha hah just my two cents.
