Did she say that Rob Morrow was not the original cast in the show? She said that Rob Morrow replaced someone in the show and the story somehow changed.

That's true. In the season 1 DVD, there's a bonus that talked about the unaired version of the pilot episode. If I remember correctly, David Krumholtz (Charlie) is one of the very few cast members that was not replaced after they shot the unaired version.
