This goes against many of his published articles. In [1] he says "If apartheid ended, so can this occupation... The current divestment effort is the first necessary move in that direction". In [2] he says "Palestinians have chosen, like we did, the nonviolent tools of boycott, divestment and sanctions"

Note that he never says that Israel has the right to exist AS A JEWISH state. He is for non-violent actions against Israel. He didn't elaborate about BDS beside a small, hesitant sentence. I am sure he approves of BDS b/c BDS is against injustice in Palestine
I would not refer to Desmond Tutu as honorable. He has spent years telling lies about Israel, falsely accusing it of being an apartheid state and supporting terrorists. However, I am glad that he has decided to stop supporting the racist, anti-semitic BDS movement. It is one small step in the right direction.
@merc344 We just want to add that while meeting him we felt very welcomed. We also sensed that archbishop Tutu is truly commited for solving the middle east conflict. Unfortunately, Mr. Tutu have some anti-Israeli advisors who obviously give him wrong advices.
You can chack out another video in our channel, in which he prays for the souls of Israeli terror victims during our meeting.

@whatisrael Desmond Tutu is a liar and a smiling devil. He is a marxist and would cut your children's throats if it suited him.
