Would you at least be able to make out the dust lanes? I wish to explore them with a telescope one day, I also have a nebula filter if that would help.
@xXSparky117Xx Well.. I've been in Hungary last year, somewhere in the middle of nowhere and when I looked up in the sky at night I was able to see a little bit of the milky way's dust. I don't know if you can see more on other places.
I live in Holland so there's too much light distortion everywhere.
Good luck anyway! I'm sorry I can't help you furthermore
@NeoMullen Nah, you can see the milky way faintly even in sparse suburbs and such, this is much farther from any major cities than you can get anywhere in Hungary. It's also at a much higher altitude, which cuts out a lot of atmospheric distortion.
For the folks who asked how this was done, the more you do the better you will get. I started taking pictures at night time and every time I do it I discover something new to improve my shots.
how are these shots made??????? i tried to make a night time lapse, but my stars leave a line behind them due to the long exposures...if i lower the exposure the stars are not visible..... i'm clueless too....
@nyalasteve99 I think if you do it precisely enough, your eyes cheat you into thinking there are no lines, because of the movement... Or maybe this was just done with higher ISO... either way, I have the same problem as you
no wonder ancient people thought that was heaven

The 'Tune' of the Uni-verse is a low, slowly pulsing electronic hum.
Thank You to whoever created this video, for it is perfection.
Cheers!

@CloudWatcherX You can't see this with the naked eye... only camera's with long exposures can make this things visable
NeoMullen 1 year ago
@NeoMullen oh ok....well then i will have to get a camera for it.

@NeoMullen
How would the naked eye compare to the camera?

А это не монтаж? Что за зарево постоянно сияет над горизонтом? И каким образом камера потихоньку уползает влево?
