try cunningham park if its too hard...there is every single level and much bigger a lot bigger and people of all ages. Its a great time if you are not good start small and before you know it you will find yourself on the expert trails and probably buying a new bike like 80% of the people i took there. Its Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows its located on 73rd ave and francis lewis, and there are entrances everywhere. Enjoy and ride
lol you wouldn't say that's in middle of one of the busiest cities in the world!!. i'd love to go riding there. i'm visiting in oct 09 but not allowed to bring my ride!

i live a few blocks away.. I went there - the jumps are awesomes, but the mtb trails are ridiculous.

the downhill courses are incredibly sketchy. Between the broken bottles, ruts and fallen trees your bound to break something.
