@flatdash51 Hi Flatdash51 ... Yes the black Mk I Zephyr is still useing the original front end with minor modifaction. Glad to hear that you have a flatdash Mk I Consul.
The body is stock. Roll cage is removeable without damage. Fuel tank unbolts from the floor of the car so original can be replaced. Bench seat bolts straight back in. The engine is a Zephyr 6 with bolt on aftermarket hot up item called a Raymond Mays head. So the car is not changed much from its original state and any mods can be changed back without damage.
My grandfather had a '55 zephyr in Jamaica I was about 4 years of age then. It had a great engine but poor steering and brakes. He kept it for almost 20 years.
Beautiful, I bet the Raymond Mays bits are difficult to get hold of now!

I like the mods.
so this is a mk1, I lkiked the mk2 a little more as the boot looks a bit stumpy on these.
