the moment right at the cut at 8:13 doesn't seem to work musically to me, are there some notes missing? it seems like there should be a bridge to the second part. still, cutting the concerto probably doesn't really work too well in any way, it's supposed to be this long, and as Jack Gibbons said: I'm always sad when it ends.

It turns out that this cut version was recorded by Ronald Smith on LP at one time and in digging out this old LP, in his liner notes he notes the lack of musical sense in the cut version--an observation of which I would agree with. Thanks for presenting this version so we can compare the two.

@OrangeSodaKing I have that LP too, but Smith's cut didn't move me. If I have time, it isn't bad idea to make Smith's cut.
