  • my bad, language was innapropriate, my replys have been over the top, apologies if i have hurt anyone, my bad, this is a great song

  • A nice song, not one of my faves from that year but I just can't help being swept away whenever I hear the intro; really entrancing. That does far more for me, personally, than the rest of the song.

  • Really? Personally I like the intro (incidentally, it must be the longest intro for an ESC entry ever - about 40 seconds in a 3-minute song!), but my fave is the last part where the song reaches its climax, largely thanks to Eric Sharpe's truly powerful vocal. This is actually an Irish entry I have a soft spot for, despite the fact that it sounds like 3 different songs thrown together in one - or maybe it's precisely this flaw rhat makes me like it more (it can happen, you know).

  • OMG i ahvent seen this since 1988!!!

I rem getting the RTE guide and all the lyrics were in it...wow...

  • Wow!

This is a song every boybandmember in UK would have been happy to perform.

  • what with 2007?

  • jasus this really brings back memories

  • Can't believe this didn't win. I remember getting the lyrics out of centre page of the RTE Guide. I remember the lead singer had to get injections for his voice that night. I was 13 at the time, brings me back!

  • I always liked this one. Thought it was very underrated Irish entry. Good melody and strong vocals.

  • They could have entered it this Year and it would have done better :)

  • Good Man yourself Roy.

  • Been wanting to see this for years. Thanks a million for putting it up. Brings back some memories.

May seem a silly question but does anyone know what the indivdual Band member are up to today?

If memory serves me correctly the Singer/pianist was playing Drums with a Band called Mann not too long ago. Would that be correct?

  • I heard that Roy(bass vocals) Peter(piano vocals) and Brian(Drums)recently had a Jump the gun reunion.Eric the guitarist plays with The great escape.

  • yes they did have a reunion, i was there bitch, u smelly boggar

  • Bitch?Smelly boggar? It sounds like you know me.

  • haha, im only joking

  • lol No worries. If you are Peters son, then I know your dad,and Roy and Brian also.

  • Following a break of about 17 years - Roy, Peter & Brian have started playing a few gigs recently @ Keily's of Mt.Merrion, Dublin (used to be the old Sprotsman's Inn)

Keep an eye on Keily's website to see if & when they're playing again!
