Mark was a good quarterback at UCLA in the '70s, his dad was Tom Harmon, the great Michigan college football player, who became a big radio and TV sportscaster.

He was also the brother-in-law of the late-Rick Nelson.

Mark Harmon brings out the best in people...There are few people in Hollywood as beloved as Mark Harmon...He's one of the most honest and genuine human beings on the planet and a real life hero to boot...Mark bravely and selflessly saved 2 teens from a burning car in 1996...He is one of a kind.
