So this technique is like heel goes down stroke, heel goes up? is that correct? What settings do you have? Higher or lower tension? looks like medium to me :) Great technique I definately have to master this!
whatever technique it is I do about exactly the same thing. I considered it flat foot myself also. Yup, the heel does not cause a beater stroke, I would compare it to using your fingers to do push/pull exactly like you said below.
you're right!! :D it seems are double strokes, anyway for sure heel toe, in flat foot ...feet must stay flat xD LOL! if anyone would like to see flat foot and his incredible work, watch my videos.. my last one... I don't practice a lot, but the results are really good!
No... it's not Heel Toe... i think heel-toe technique is useful in metal, where you need power. I used it for 2 year, then I develop this you can see :
This is good for fast rolls... the heel do not hit the pedal, but put "weight" to the stroke. it's a sort of push-pull. It's not DX DX, SX SX. It's DXpush SXpush DXpull SXpull :)
I think it is heel toe... the heel doesnt necessarily need to touch the foot plate.. its more in the motion itself

Actually I stop playing with AXIS pedals... But, as i can remember, very low tension. High tension kills your foot using this technique. :D :D
