  • I was in High school when this came out...I remember listening to the Worlds Famous Supreme Team Show late at night, I loved their show, it was so sublime listening to WHBI with Magic rap Attack Show, ahhhh those was the best days of my life when rap was rap!!!! I wish I had a time machine, I would go back in time to the years 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983 and 1984 and never leave!!!!

  • One on the best mixes ever,I remember when it first came out it woud be one of the songs played on my cassette player while jogging around The LA coliseum on rainy days, comming to think of it now, its funny because my rain suit I believe was a funny looking one, kind of the power rangers looking like.It used to make me feel relaxed, good memories..great piece of work also a legend.

  • 7:22

So this is where A Tribe called Quest got that chorus from, huh? Amazing.

  • Young heads in the so-called hip hop game today need to listen to this and take notes!

  • I was just about to go to high school when this was out. This took me back.... all love.

  • Yo I cant believe this only got 56 thousand views and it been up for over 3 years. I listened to it about 5ooo times myself

  • You tube is like my time machine. It takes me back to school days and when music was original. And here in NY we did not just listen to rap, But we lived hip hop. Today rappers are trying to reach a pop audience. You cant even dace to it. Jay Z and other groups doing music with pop bands. He knows nobody in Marcy projects copped that shit.

  • what is the beat from in this that starts right at 2 minutes and 10 seconds ? I seriously have allways thought that beat is the best of al time. I want to download that song, PLEASE HELP... Tim

  • Yo this joint takes me straight to 1984, peace to Just, Cee and rip Malcolm...

  • I used to DJ in the early 80s (house parties and weddings, etc,) and would play this song to end my DJ show. This song is the best and brings back some cool memories.

  • Yo, I'm from Va and I've been djing since the early 80s and I'm only 41. This type of shit was like the most important thing in our young lives. I can't even tell you how I feel just hearing this. Know your history people, this industry we have today came from this golden era of hip hop music.

  • They said the world was supposed to end in 2000, the world didnt end, but hiphop sure did take a almost deadly blow, and people sure did get dumber.

  • just press 2:09

  • EASE eight-three my man, waddup...

  • It's all there on the track, beautiful, on point.

  • Cant wait till Hip Hop brings back the DJ and the MC, that to me is the difference between Hip Hop and todays Trap music or snap finger music with rappers (rappers rap with no direction, and MC's use a rap style to complete a story). Simply my opinion.

  • yes it is on cd, but the cd does not have the whole "world famous" track on it. if my memory serves correctly. but it is still worth the price of admission to get it.

  • What we hear now ain't hip-hop, back then everyone had a different style. Everyone tried to be original, everyone created their own beats. Now swizzbeats and the like. Timbaland. Get the F*@# out of here!!!!!!
