  • why are people so bothered by the beat after each word, honestly I barely even noticed it :)

  • To all the people who learn Polish: I have a proposal :P I'll help you in Polish, and you'll help me in English ;D I don't know yet how, maybe we will write to each other or something. My English is not the best, but I'm working on it. Is anyone interested? :))

  • @dysiunia178 i am interested :D really...

  • @dysiunia178

ok , I can speak polish and english too. no problem ;d

  • debil xD

  • Nawed się debil znalazł :)

  • dom - house

    dywan - carpet

    demon - demon :D

    diabeł - devil

  • Gdziekuje bardzo, jestem Angielsku. Prozse voliniey? Rozumiem kilka.

  • @Feisty1967

Moje gratulacje. Dobrze sobie radzisz :)

  • @Feisty1967 Dziękuję bardzo,jestem Anglikiem. Proszę wolniej.Rozumiem kilka. It"s OK

  • @Feisty1967 Psheprazsham, Gdziekuje bardzo, jestem Angielskim. Jak sie mascz? Mam na imie Sarah. Do widzenia.

  • this one is so mush easier to understand bcuz of the english translation in the corner!

  • cymbal sounds the best

  • dupa also means 'ass' in Slovakian !

  • Droga is for road, true, but... it can be a adjective in fem. and it means: expensive and dear too. For example: droga woda - expensive water. Droga Mario - Dear Maria.

  • what pizda means in polish in romanian it means pussy i know it means something but idk what

  • dupa=after but its după not dupa

  • im from romania and polish and romanian has some words that are the same like

delfin, bilet ... and it mean the same thing XD

  • Two are the same as in spanish: Dama, dentysta (the spelling is dentista, the pronunciation exactly the same).

And other two exist in spanish, but with another meaning: Debil is weak, droga is drug (the bad one). Both cases with identical spelling and pronunciation.

  • Lots of languages borrow from each other or even the same language. I would imagine that Polish has borrowings from Latin that happen to coincide with words in Spanish borrowed from Latin.

  • Yes you are right, but the special thing between spanish and polish is that when the word is the same, the sound is exactly the same, with no difference in the pronunciation. I like when that happens!

  • Wait,isn't "Droga" is Expensive?

  • "moja droga ja cię kocham" :D

    (it's both)

  • haha I know my polish is good when I can understand that sentence :D

    And ok :)

  • hahaha debil... xD

  • lol

  • That reminds me of Beavis and Butthead... "hehehe... he said 'debil'... hehehehe..."

  • @dagetsprodukcje Hey dehbil!!! lol! XD I know a polish guy!, I gotta call him that!!

  • well, I think you shouldn't use borrowings, especially for vowels, it is very confusing for foreigners who want to learn any language... but words like debil? and the picture? that was poor... you can find much better examples!

    otherwise - good idea!

  • Tak na marginesie, piszesz diament, a wstawiłeś obrazek z brylantem.

  • the same like on croatian(my language): delfin, dolar, dama, debil, dim(dym),dirigent(dyrygent),dokument, dijalog(dialog) :))). jeeeeeeeej

  • polski!

  • Excellent set of lessons - kudos to you Magauchsein! I like your quirky choice of words too - can't wait to use Antichrist and Tzaddik (I've now forgotten their Polish versions, but I'll bo back and review) in casual conversation. You obviously have a good sense of humour as well. Thank you for this very cool project!

  • The first 3 words are the same as in Spanish! Delfin, Dolar and Dama!!

  • Thank you, your friendly comments give me such a lot of energy. There is holiday now and I hope I can produce them as quick as possible.

You are so right about the audio, I was trying to make it "better" by adding some chorus. Which was a mistake.

If you got any suggestion how I could improve these lessons (esthetically or technically) please don't hesitate to tell me. I'll appreciate it.

  • If you didn't have a beat after every word, I think the quality of these videos would greatly improve.

  • ok, the next man I'll do without and we can compare :/

  • I like these - I've been watching them as they're added. Thank you for adding the English translations. On some of the previous videos, I wasn't entirely sure what the picture represented. I think the audio on the previous videos was slightly better. This one has a lot of reverb, making the pronunciation a little less distinct. Keep them coming, they're great!
