  • This IS a language, its very similiar to greek, although this "language" isnt actually meant to mean anything, it is called Lorem Ipsum. Its not Hungarian.

look it up in wikipedia if you like

Hope i answered yer questions :)

  • yes, they say sweaty cow..

  • The people saying its Hungarian (especially the person who supposedly translated it) you have no idea what you're talking about. Pop any of the sentences into google translator and it can't translate it. Why? Because its GIBBERISH.

  • seriously LOVE THIS MOVIE i have the disc blu ray with 3D it is awesome !

  • I always find myself singing this absent-mindedly singing this... is that normal?

  • to je tak krásná písnička chodim na zbor a všychni dohromady(i s učitelkami) bysmeto nedokázali tak krásně zaspívat:-o

  • @1Lula1ful french

  • @Callielove12 It's actually Hungarian but pieces of a lot of the songs have French. I know because my boyfriend and I sat on the floor all lunch listening and translating in silence.

  • 13 people have button eyes

  • This is gibberish but i keep hearing very silly doll...

  • Lyrics Below in english (i did not translate it)

  • Creaking is the door so gently, Side to side calling your name. Never ever ever ever open that door, Things won't be the same. Crawling is the spiders hand, Seaching for it's prey. • In case you are all wondering yes this is gibberish, but beautiful gibberish.. Great job Bruno Coulais! Do Svidaniya!!

  • When I listen to this song is makes me think of chapter 5 of Daku's Past/Story when Zuti leads Zalo and Daku into the trap.

  • i love coraline

  • I LOVE THE LYRICS EVEN IN ENGLISH!!!!!!!

  • Coraline is my absolute favorite movie, I've had it on DVD for a year and watched it about 18 times, Does that make me a weirdo? I don't care it's awesome! :)

  • I knew it! End Credits was in the movie Coraline!

  • Are the lyrics just jibberish? o_O

  • @catz537 Yes. :)

  • I keep hearing 'Free insanity, Swim in the lake that drowns."

    O.o

  • just watched coraline in 3D lol, quite good, ive seen coraline before and loved it. i know own the movie now <3

  • This song really fits the story. What I imagine when I hear it is pretty much exactly the movie: A puppet show of a little girl playing around in some forest place, being lured in with pretty flowers and a stuffed bear in spite of the choir warning her against it, only to suddenly be caught and pulled up into the shadows by a spider monster, making a closing shot of the dropped bear on the ground and some silver spider webbing.

  • Can't the Beldam just eat Twinkie Doo Doo's and get fat off of it rather than children's soul?

  • I seem to keep hearing 'sweaty cow' just after 1:00.. Maybe that's just me :L

  • @Magoo7777777 mooooooooooooooooooo

  • @Magoo7777777 lol ikr

  • @fallonhadley

    Oh cool! :) Thanks.

  • This my favorite song of the movie!

  • I've heard they are speaking nonsense gibberish, but I have also heard they are speaking another language. Which one is true? D: I personally think they're speaking nonsense gibberish.

  • @takemealong008 Yes, they're speaking gibberish, but in parts the chorus just sang random words and they were played in reverse to get an eerier feel that they know what they're saying :)

  • here are the lyrics: Creaking Van Iddli Fla Lu Va Pretty Sah Lu Feh Iddli Twu Ki Padi Trelly Goilly Doilly Seli Pretty Chedi Emi Swalin Gwoh Seri Ferin Dorin Greh Fairy Seiry Don Sweedes Machin Twinky Doo Fweeden Soreti* Oosi An Tweeban Retiso Neh-Neh Fehreeden Sindwee Bin Doh Swin Ting Lan Twenty Some Dring Doli Sweet Lan Bih City Tran Dolinda Pretty Leheleni Switi Kull Meli Swimmin So (repeat until *)
  • am i the only one who knows this movie by heart?

  • @SuperMjlova you're not the only one :D

  • @SuperMjlova NOPE!! ^_^

  • @SuperMjlova I'm pretty sure my 12month old son knows this movie by heart.

  • Twinky subliminal messaging

  • The vocals are nice, but the orchestration is a little too elfman-y for my tastes.

  • @Jcolinsol SHUT UP

  • (Translation from Hungarian) Creaking is the door so gently, Side to side calling your name. Never ever ever ever open that door, Things won't be the same. Crawling is the spiders hand, Seaching for it's prey. Soon You'll be caught next, Traped in the spiders web! (the ghost children) RUUUUN! SAAAAVE US PLEASE SAVE OUR SOULS!!!! (ghost boy) Find our eyes before the full moon, Make sure other mother dosn't find you, A button in the eye will surely curse you. The witch will eat you too!
  • @familyguyrofl

    (all of the choir)

Find our eyes before the full moon,

Make sure other mother dosn't find you,

A button in the eye will surely curse you.

The witch will eat you too!

    Crawling is the spiders hand,

    Seaching for it's prey.

    Soon You'll be caught next,

    Traped in the spiders web!

  • is this gibberish, or is it really a language? around 0:13, here's what i hear:

    twinking fat,

    really fat,

and put a san in fair,

really twinking party, trelly, coley, dolley, sally

    pretty chainey

and other random things that don't make sence. >_<

  • @NeoLightElectro This is a made up language by the Nice Children's Choir :D

  • @BassooMajor ah. cool ^_^ a madeup language... wonder how they memorized it all, like the gibberish they used?

  • @NeoLightElectro I'm sure they just wrote the gibberish down on staff paper :)

  • @BassooMajor good point. :]

  • @MissGlamourLove That's no french sorry. I speak french and that's not it.

  • glad i wasnt the only one who thought they said "twinkie" at 1:26 haha

  • Love this song but Wtf are they speaking?

  • @katieshowjack It's gibberish. There is an accent, perhaps French, but I assure you Bruno Coulais makes most of his music in gibberish.

At least that's what I've heard.

  • Golly wolly dully swattie practi-chainy, early swairling gold! 8D

  • TWINKIE DOOOO

  • OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • @renlee99 i'm pretty sure it's just a bass drum....like on a drum set :P

  • 0:24 "Crawling is the Beldam's hand, twitching ever so. Catching her pray in her web! Soon you'll be next."

  • fairies smashing twinkies!!!

  • mm i could go for a twinkie now.

  • @DreamLillyAngel I'm Swedish, and this is defiantly not Swedish :P

  • What language is this in?

  • @glamBVBfan Its giberish, the director made it that way.

  • @tvkid9879 XD ME TOO

  • What I got from listening to this: Coraline wants to swim in a pool of twinkies?

  • Why is it I think of Beetlejuice when I hear this theme?

  • gosh ...this is sooo creepy

  • @MsSeasonCycle What eles would the point be? Have you seen the movie? Creepy, yeah?

I reviewed this book (I will be writing a review for the movie soon) on my website. Please check it out - it would mean the (other) world to me! Haha, thanks!

    bluesreviews.yolasite.com

  • is it not in an actual language?

  • @theosaurus2 Nope, it's gibberish.

  • I know this is toatlly random. But if their is a coroline 2 this is what I think should be in it. Like the others mother REAL daughter ( I think their should be a real daughter of the other mother and she like tells her the secret behind the other mother!

  • @tomboybarbieclique The other mother doesn't have any of her own children which is why she steals other peoples' kids. Plus the movie is based off a book so there won't be a second one.

  • has a perfect blend a little curiosity, a dark, and an extraordinary dynamic that follow as the heart beats that follow give an overwhelming pace!

  • Amo essa música '

  • at the end, it sounds like part of wybie's song.... try it!!! its starting AFTER 1:52

  • So I was shopping today, and a song came on that was very pretty and strange. I thought, "this reminds me of Coraline" because the song sounded a bit like this one. Soft, whispery, mysterious, enchanting.

Then I saw something small fall to the floor. It was a little gray button.

The thing is, I checked, but none of the tops had buttons that matched.

    WTFFFF. hahaha ;)

  • @Chapstick817 dude that's kinda creepy yet also a little funny!

  • @wizardwarrior713 It was :).

Although, to be realistic, it PROBABLY belonged to one of the shirts, and maybe I didn't look hard enough. Still the fact that a button would happen fall off of perfectly new clothing, just as I was thinking about Coraline.. It tickled me.

Still, let's just say it fell from another world, shall we? ;).

  • Just so freaking creepy...I love it!

  • I showed the lyrics to an english teacher and he was guessing swedish or hungarian and I got the english lyrics so it has to be a certain language. Anyone thumbs up I think so

Look in my favorites if you don't believe me

  • Why is Poker face in the suggestions?

  • @puppy22122212 It's not a Tim Burton movie, you moron.

  • @kurvos Which is funny because Coraline almost looked like a TB movie, despite the fact that it's not.

  • @MrWerehog23 I disagree. People in that case just think "oh, it's a dark and quirky movie, and in stop-motion - then it must be Tim Burton!". I am a artist, and knows some about designs. This movie doesn't have the design Tim Burton movies tends to have, or the same mood, or the same type of music.

  • @kurvos It's close though, right?

  • @MrWerehog23 Let's see, hmm... uhm, nope.

  • @kurvos Sorry, I was just saying, the movie looked amazing, so it's funny to me how Tim Burton wasn't involved, because in my opinion, Coraline resembled The Nightmare Before Christmas in the "creepy" department. Even the music was enough to spook me out.

  • @MrWerehog23 However; in my opinion, Coraline was scarier, more clever and overall better than Nightmare Before Christmas. The best parts about Nightmare Before Christmas to me was two of the songs - This is Halloween and Kidnap the Sandy Claws. The story, I could care less about. I was also annoyed by the forced love story. Coraline did great without any love story - which is also something that makes it better.

  • @kurvos No argument there, Coraline get's two thumbs up from me!
