This song really fits the story. What I imagine when I hear it is pretty much exactly the movie: A puppet show of a little girl playing around in some forest place, being lured in with pretty flowers and a stuffed bear in spite of the choir warning her against it, only to suddenly be caught and pulled up into the shadows by a spider monster, making a closing shot of the dropped bear on the ground and some silver spider webbing.

The best parts about Nightmare Before Christmas to me was two of the songs - This is Halloween and Kidnap the Sandy Claws. The story, I could care less about. I was also annoyed by the forced love story. Coraline did great without any love story - which is also something that makes it better.
