Pistol squats are fucking useless and it makes no sense doing them as it doesn't increase your front squat and your back squat.

@Truejusticevoice Pistol squats are great for overall athletisism, that is to say strenght, balance and coordination combined. People have goals other than max strength.

I saw a guy at my local gym doing pistol squats while standing on top of a stabillity ball AND holding a 50-pound weight in his hands!!
(He was a current World Cup competitive downhill skier.)
My jaw about hit the floor!!
