@d1v4dPwnz Well, we found out she likes it by accident. She didn't like anything at the time and someone offered her their glass thinking she'd just sniff and go on but she grabbed hold and started chugging the champagne and it took 2 of us to pry her loose, lol.

There's not much alcohol in champagne really but I wouldn't give her more than a thimble or shot glass full and only rarely.

They eat fruit in the wild and likely eat some fermented fruits like other animals so it's not unnatural.

i didn't think they would have the enzyme to degrade alcohol, that usually is only for animals with a component of fruit in diet...although anteaters probably take advantage of some fruit if they found it in the wild

she was imported from Guyana. she was ill and was a lot of work and worry to get her healthy again.
