Depends on the radiation dose. A 10 second scan is way too long (radiation exposure is >> then the typical amount we'd receive in a year. However, ultra low dose X-ray scans expose us to the same amount of radiation you get from being at high altitude (aka in an airplane) for less than 30 seconds. Its when we are exposed to significantly more radiation than normal that the incidents of cancer significantly increase.

My view on this is that the governments want to kill us, look at that x-ray image, it shows the femur bone, the rib cavitiy and even has a clear view of internal organs. The machine also has different levels of strength and can go deeper.
Maybe this is their solution to the so called (global warming) another bullshit thing, which although I respect the environment and I recycle, I do not believe in any shit these global governments tell us.

Depends on the radiation dose. A 10 second scan is way too long (radiation exposure is >> then the typical amount we'd receive in a year. However, ultra low dose X-ray scans expose us to the same amount of radiation you get from being at high altitude (aka in an airplane) for less than 30 seconds. Its when we are exposed to significantly more radiation than normal that the incidents of cancer significantly increase.

Agreed, slipperysnowman. A camera (such as a cell phone) aimed at the monitor will even do the trick. The only way to prevent these images from becoming public is to refrain from making them.
