  • lo mejor ozzy lo mejor

  • I was pissed off when I was born 86 in 4 years later, Randy rhoad died in march 19, 1982 by the plain crash. Sadly. [R.I.P. R.R]

  • ..and ..gotta give credit to Randy Rhoads..f'n amazing!!

  • This Tune Rocks!! ..then again...so does OZZY!! :)

  • When Ozzy , Randy , and Sharon first started out in 1980 , they needed Bob Daisley . Daisley was one of the best bassplayers of his day , and also a lyricist . Yes, it is sad to hear that Ozzy and Sharon ripped him off . Later on , Ozzy was so mental , that he couldn't write songs anymore , so Dailsley was brought in again to write lyrics for ozzy . Sharon is just like her dad , she enjoys ripping people off , a total bitch .

  • @somekindaperv People also don't know that Geezer Butler from Sabbath wrote most of those songs too when Ozzy was in Sabbath.

  • @DamageInc63 That's a bassplayer, people don't regularly pay attention to them but they are pretty much the backbone of the entire band.

  • in my opinion, the best heavy metal song of all time. RIP Randy.

  • now this is 80's metal......ozzy from sabbath to solo the real deal!!!!

  • yes , to cut out Bob and Lee, and further insult them - like they nev

    er mattered.

  • @Heepster69 I still can't believe that bitch Sharon beat those guys out of their royalties either man.. that's what's real fucked up about that. All those years, nothing, and then a judge agrees? What ever..

  • It is not a 'remaster' if Ozzy & Sharon replaced the originally recorded bass and drums - with new players! It is a scam that's what it is! these were just bastardized versions of 2 great albums. Rudy Sarzo!?? Ha. what did actually play on w/ Ozzy? The first 2 [and by far - best] albums that Ozzy sang on [w/ the band 'Blizzard of Ozz'] - included bassist [& songwriter] Bob Daisley [ex Rainbow, Chickenshack.....] and the Great Lee Kerslake [ex Uriah Heep].

  • @Heepster69

Was this done to avoid royalties? I don't get it. The actual music parts are quite similar so they aren't incompetent fill-ins.

  • @Simplealex Randy Rhoads IS the greatest guitarist ever.

  • randy rhoads is one of the greatest guitarist ever

  • BTW - the drummer is Tommy Aldridge! Who TF is Mike Bordin? Dude - do you research, like reading the BACK of the Diary album jacket

  • @MrDpahls1 this is the remastered version, mike bordin and rob trujilo are on this one, not tommy or bob daisely

  • I thought the drummer was Jimmy AirplanePilot?

  • 12 people are fucking deaf and dont know shit about music

  • Just yet another reason on a very long list of why I really h8 Sharon.

  • ththe original bassist on this recording as well as the first album was bob daisley...NOT rudy sarzo. bob also wrote all the lyrics on the first two albums

  • Randy's solo in this is so unique. One of my favourite Randy solo's.

Listen to the original with Daisley and Kerslake on a pre 1995 disc and it is better in my opinion.

  • Damn, this is probably the worst remaster ever.

  • what is up with u-tu=ube

  • God! if I could put into words what we did on acid and smoking bowl after bowl listening to this (cassette tape) there were no Cd's back then.

  • I guess the only way to avoid Sharon cutting you from getting your royalties is to die in a fiery plane crash. That British cunt.

  • Fuckin' Randy Rhoads ! HELL YEAH ! lml

  • I have to admit after Blizzard of Oz and Diary..., To me,Ozzy wasn't the same.just mediorce. I love his Sabbath stuff but then again who doesn't...

  • Daisley and Kerslake wrote the tunes and Ozzy sang them. He's the heavy metal version of Elvis Presley. Pissed me right off what Sharon did to those guys. WIthout those songs on the first two albums Ozzy's career would not have taken off. Of course, having Randy was HUGE without a doubt - he's so incredible and freaks me out every time. But, those songs were amazing. The Quiet Riot songs SUCKED ass even with the amazing Randy. Shame on Sharon and Ozzy for going along to rip off their art.

  • Retards, it's bob daisley and lee kerslake on bass and drums (on the original album, not this re-recorded trash) not rudy sarzo and tommy aldridge..the only album they are on with Randy is the tribute album....but anyways go listen to the original album, not this shitty remaster with new bass and drum tracks

  • Although bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Tommy Aldridge are credited in the liner notes and pictured on the inner sleeve, it was bassist Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake who performed all bass and drum parts on the original release.

  • Bob Daisley...Bass

    Lee Kerslake...Drums

  • mike bordin was not the drummer it was lee kerslake

  • What Makes Randy Rhoads special, and marks his place in history is how he drew on classical music models in a controlled, disciplined way that was unheard of before him.

  • its trujillo!

    faggots

  • @bookworm1138 You are talking about Robert, right? I never heard of Robert Truckdriver, but I've heard of Robert Trujilo.

  • better than that fag beiver.

  • i bet ozzy was off his face on all sorts of drugs when he made this song

  • dosent ozzy look like that one dude from waynes world?

  • @guitardouche666

    Garth?

  • This is fucking thrash metal

  • great tune

  • Fall-outs occur all the time in rock n'roll but wiping original parts from a classic album is an unprecedented action.

To me, the most distasteful aspect of the whole affair is the fact that the late Randy Rhoad's playing now sits uncomfortably alongside musicians he never met. Shame on you Sharon.

  • My speakers exploded form playing Ozzy too loud.

  • sounds all fuked up and squelchy, lol wtf,

  • i'd be killing someone if they revised randy's part.

  • Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake(of Uriah Heep fame) were the bassist and drummer, respectively, on Diary of a Madman. They did not get credit because they accepted a "buy out" and Ozzy had no legal obligation to give them credit on the album. For almost 30 yrs. people thought Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge were on this album, but... Also, Bob wrote most of ALL the lyrics on Ozzy's 1st albums. Believe it or not.

  • @drunkpollywog,roger that!!!

Randy Rhoades is a mythological figure!!! Ozzy paid tribute!!!

Rhoades literally flew too close to the sun...

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • Randy Rhoads amazing guitar play he didnt copy anyones style he had the balls to create his own and for he defined a generations worth of guitar players that continue on today and hes the reason i picked up a guitar RIP RR the master of the guitar both classical and electric you are stil missed and loved . for all who hail this guitar legend give me a Amen and grab your guitars so we can sarenade Mr. Randy Rhoads prperly.

  • Shit hot album, stands the test of time!!!!!

  • Original bass and co-writer of the song was Bob Daisley.

  • Actually, Bob Daisley was the original bass track on this recording and due to royalty disputes, Ozzy took out Bob Daisley's bass track along with Tommy Aldrige's drum track and had two session players come in and re-record the bass and drum tracks. Rudy Sarzo only played these songs off of this album live.

  • The drums and bass are horrible

  • Now I know what a Trujillo means in English.

    It means a truckdriver.

    Thanks for the Spanish lesson.

  • Randy influenced a lot of people. for every1 that said Randy Rhoads influenced them add me to the list!

  • Rhoads kicks so much ass

  • Stryper is doing a cover of this :)

  • yup

  • @Aeroman1996 Really where can i find it??

  • @GriffMob Its gonna be on their new album :)

  • @Aeroman1996 Cool do you know whats it called and when its coming out??

  • @GriffMob this summer sometime...

  • this is w/ the rerecorded drums and bass i think, which is why it's so lousy. the original is much much better.

  • Hehe

  • My ears just came.

  • lol wat

  • @choppedandscrewed69, that's fucking funny stuff, my friend!

Wipe up with a Kleenex/Q-tip hybrid right about now!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @choppedandscrewed69, that'd be an "eargasm".

crow-hop, getting sex and wrecking decks!!!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • Randy Rhoads was so amazing... I bet he's rocking heaven as we speak.

  • Qzzy's BEST album.....ROCK ON!!!!

  • dude you spelt his name worng it ozzy not Qzzy

  • ur the only person that could have made that mistake

  • relax all just rock n roll/ Ozzy is a badass no reason to get mad. who fuck cares why u mad just rock

  • ozzy rocks

  • Bob Daisley played with Rainbow. Wikipedia is a great place to get info.

  • I want to apologize to julieisdead and jcane28eatsfatpuss, I said things that were inapprpriate.

I need to learn "the ropes", OK?

    FrankC32

  • Bob daisley wrote the lyrics. Before him in Sab it was Geezer.Ozzy is a great singer surrounded by great production and superb talent. thats not a slight against him, just the facts. the boy can sing! Nothing more, Nothing less.

  • nice, dude, but tell me, who is this Bob Daisley character, and how would Ozzy risk for one second the lyric credits on one of his biggest solo hits? This sounds like an ugly lawsuit...

Educate me, man. If I am being ignorant, I need someone to tell me.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • The very first time i heard this song in like 1982 i think, I absolutely Had to have it.

  • @97warlock, exactly bro'. This tune grabs you by the boo-boo, shakes you like a m'r f'r, makes you accountable!!!

  • The bass guitar is Rudy Sarzo. Not whoever that guy is.

  • Ozzy cut out Rudy's part and put in Robert Truckdriver for the remaster. This is the remaster, thus Robert Truckdriver gets credited.

  • @julieisdead and jcane28eatsfatpuss, who wrote the fucking lyrics? Who do you think you are, issuing your ignorant opinions like they were fact. Go fuck yourself, you big-mouthed assholes.

How do you know? Were you at the sessions? I doubt it. Stop with your judgement.

jcane28eatsfatpuss, you sound like the typical moron, let me guess, you live in your folks' basement, right?

Grow up, live life, then come back to the adult table, when you have a set of balls, you two punk fucks.

  • @Julieisded wasntit bob daileys and lee kerslake of the original release and rudy and tommy just on the sleeve

  • @Julieisded wasntit bob daisley and lee kerslake oo the original release and rudy and tommy just on the sleeve?

  • @Julieisded truckerdriver???? any way rudy didnt do this eiter it was bob daisly ass clown

  • @Julieisded WRONG DUDE....THE BASS IS ORIGINALLY BOB DAISLEY...EVEN THOUGH THE PICTURE IS RUDY....AND YES ALL THE REMASTERS ARE ROBERT TRUJUILO.....HOPE THIS CLEARS UP THE DEBATE...CHEERS ALL AND LET'S KEEP THIS MUSIC ALIVE :))

  • @Julieisded it was never Rudy but Bob Daisly who also wrote the Lyrics

  • @Julieisded Actually it was Bob Daisley who played on the original, Rudy Sarzo only played with Ozzy live. but Bob Daisley played on the first 3 Ozzy albums I know that. Robert Trujillo played on the remasters.

  • @Julieisded i mean the first 5 albums

  • @Julieisded ...oh man do some research, the original bass part was played by Bob Daisley, the original bassist, Rudy never recorded anything for the first two albums.

  • Rudy Sarzo is the current bassist for Blue Oyster Cult.

  • Comment removed

  • Rudy, Kevin, Carlos, sounds like Quiet Riot!!!

  • @supersaiyan9goku No, bass was originally played by Bob Daisley.

  • @cwig Ahh.

  • @supersaiyan9goku actully the oringional bassists is bob daisley, the touring bassits is rudy sarzo, and the remaster bassits is robert trujillo, morons

  • @supersaiyan9goku an mike bordin is not the drummer. Whos that fuckin clown writing that bull shit a 5 year old??

  • The bass is rudy zaro

  • This is the remaster where Ozzman replaced the original bass and drum parts with worse one as a prank.

  • @Julieisded it wasn't a prank, rudy sarzo and bob whatever his name was sued ozzy for making money off music that rudy and bob helped with, so ozzy re recorded the bass and drum parts so they wouldnt sue him

  • @Julieisded It wasn't a prank, it's because they were trying to sue him for the track saying it was all of there's, not just Ozzy's, even though they were basically take out's version of musicians, called "pay to play"

so Osbourne just switched out the bass and drum to get them off his ass.

  • that cross in totally inverted in tha background

  • damn straight it does

  • This fucking guitar solo SCORCHES!!

  • compare to this....

  • this is not the original version...... there is extra flange added to the recording.. this is the re-release/remake per sharon to cut royalties from bob daisley, kerslake etc.

  • I put the personnel in an annotation.

  • thanks... . . ..

  • the best guitarist are the ones that inspire beound the grave!

  • Whoever did the drums on this version sucks. The drum intro is totally wrong. The original version of the Diary of a Madman album is much better than this re-make shit.

  • This is a disgrace.

  • I agree even though I think Mike Bordin and Rob Trujillo are good musicians, It is not right to take Bob Daisley and Lee Keerslake out. Bob was a huge writing contributor to this album. Sharon Osbourne is the devil

  • It's not right to tarnish the only real work Randy Rhoads left on this Earth before his passing....Those two pricks should be ashamed of themselves, and Ozzy in particular because he let it happen. Destroying a priceless work of art is immoral. The same thing has happened with the Hendrix catalog.......SHOOT EM ALL....BOYCOTT OZZY THAT BRAINDEAD STUPID FUCK.

  • Awesome drum solos!

  • R.I.P RANDY RHOADS 1956-1982

  • My favorite guitarist of all time (in no paticular order) Rhoads, Page and Hendrix. For me a true guitar hero has a 1-2 knock out punch. First punch being a great hook and second a killer guitar solo.

  • dude u have a great taste...sure u will be a great guitarist one day..my holy trinity is page,rhoads n hendrix too...RIP RR

  • totally dude, like a good fighter; gots to have the 1-2 KO punch, the fucking straight right, and then the lights-out left, the KO punch! Beautiful!!!

  • this song deserves a serious video, something to pay true homage to Randy, true homage to this incredible album!

I will never forget the first time I heard the music from 2:00 to 3:06. Fucking genius, period, end of story.

"Eargasm" is a great new term, needs to be pushed into the mainstram and rock some motherfuckers worlds!!!

  • Every time I hear this song, it reminds me of how bad I miss Randy. Why he had to go, I'll never know. He was the greatest and no matter what anyone says, he carried ozzy and thats that.

  • this song is great

  • This Solo Gives Me A Boner :D

  • LOL, yea the solo is awesome... it literally gives your brain an orgasm when you hear it!

  • Don't all Randy solo's/Riffs give you brain orgasms when you hear them? I guess its kinda more like an ear orgasm, but whatever.

  • eargasm for me :P

  • considering the message being sent from the ears would be useless without interpretation from a giant cluster of nerves(the brain)... don't dig too deep into what i said dude, eargasm, braingasm whatever...

  • lmao ok i was just saying, who really cares :P

  • hahaha nice

  • My favorite Ozzy song!!

  • i agree

  • mine too.D

  • I aggre with the person that said rap sucks and that this music is better than most of today's stuff because it is better.

  • fuck rap and today's music, OZZY RULESSSSSSSS!!!!!

  • DONT NEED NO ASTROLOGY!

  • You can NEVER get bored with ozzy. ;)

  • This solo still gives me goose bumps.....

  • This is an excellent song.

  • man i wish randy was alive

  • ozzy's best song from his "early" era.

  • BTW, Randy is a native son of my home town of Santa Monica, Cali. I still consider him the best ever bar-none.

  • And you are correct. Bar none.

  • Chilling, chilling solo! Perhaps the best solo ever of Rock! I remember this album in High School like it was yesterday. Both my sons play guitar and LOVE OZZY like thier old man.

This tune rips and for many of you young ones out there you need to remember just how MANY, MANY groups Ozzy influenced. This is it boys! This is ROCK AT IT'S BEST!! Miss you Randy!!

  • i hate people at my school who like rap and this numetal of course i missed all the 80's but i still could tell you this music is better than todays stuff

  • RANDY IS GOD!!!!!!!

  • Agreed. Randy at his best over blizzard. A shame what could have been for the Blizzard of OZ band. the real name of Ozzy's band from these two's albums

  • In my opinion {for what thats worth}, "Diary of a Madman" was Ozzy's best album, post Black Sabbath. Randy was at his best too!

  • fuck acdc they aint got shit on ozzy

  • Yes they do... But Ozzy is the Prince of Darkness.

  • Ozzy is just a singer/entertainer. Who seems to have a Fantastic awesome lineup for bands lol. Randy sure made some killer awesome materail. I think Randy started the whole Classical/shred fest, such as Yngie etc etc

  • Well, he does write some decent songs.

  • You are correct my friend and the only one I've heard mention this simple truth. LOL!!!! Randy influenced me long before Yngwie.

  • Randy Rhodes is why I play guitar, Hendrix is God but it was RR that brought it on!

  • Same here bro. the tone chasing started for me with Randy. Randy is why I STILL play Metal.

  • No, Ozzy is a man nothing more.

  • two years later, Death released Scream Bloody Gore, and Death Metal was born. Haha. Wow.

  • Death is a level somewhere close to God.

  • that's heavy shit, lyrically-specific, I must leave it up to the philosophers ....

    -FrankC32-

  • OZZY OSBOURNE - thanks for enlightening my sad youth days with your music.

  • randy rhoads was the best thing that ever happened...

  • I remember my mother thowing a hizzy fit when I brought this album home. She was like "What is that evil sounding music?" I said "Mom it's just Ozzy". She threw holy water on me and forbade me to play the music which I did anyway. I followed up with AC/DC's Hell's Bells. Lol.

  • LOL!!! that is funny!

  • YES, that makes me what to put down some beers right now!

  • OZZY IS OZZSOME DOOD!

  • THIS is real music, ladies and gentlemen, not the shit we have now.

  • i agree and i'm only 14!!!

  • same here. AMEN THEPERFECTSTONE121212

  • /agree totally

  • My people! Come forth and rock!! \m/

  • i don't know what any of these people just said. i only know that i came here to rock.

*please don't get offended that i don't know what you just said. i'm not able to clearly understand English because my first language is rock.

  • you obviously came to the right place, my friend, diary of a madman is a killer album. trust me, it's in my personal collection.

  • I have Master Of Reality and Diary of a Madman, both kicked me in the teeth. its my life ambition to someday own Paranoid, with iron man on it and Diary of an Axeman.

  • I'm trying to get my grubby litte hands on blizzard of oz, paranoid, and no more tears (the latter being the most wanted)

  • ozzy´s wicked !

    love him to death

  • ozzy and randy was one of the best

  • Re-recorded desecration of the precious few Randy tracks. Mike and Robert are OK musicians but it's so obvious that the bass and drums are different here. Way to fuck Lee Kerslake and Bob Daisley. Two excellent musicians. Why don't you take your balls out of Sharon's pocket Ozzy. Would it really have killed you to pay them the royalties they deserved? Bob did write most of the music AND ALL the fucking lyrics for crying out loud. Greedy douche-bag.

  • that shit is rerecorded
