  • Good video but the sound fx sucks!

  • Whatever you are using for the horn, stop it!

  • When I get my own house I'm gonna make a huge layout. This is awesome.

  • Are those Alco RS3s?

  • @LonesomeTroubadour Yes they are Reading Alco RS-3's. I runs lots of RS-1's, and RS-3's, mostly Atlas, thanks for looking and to all the other nice comments on all my videos over the past few years...

  • Hi.

What type of horn is that sounding? Doesn't quite sound like the Nathans and Leslies I'm familiar with.

  • Just a cheap CMI sound module, wasn't supposed to be a real horn sound. That was made in the days long before digitial sampling was invented....thanks for commenting anyway!

  • Understood about the sound module. I must say that your track and ballast work is excellent. Also great work on the ground scenery. Definetly resembles the eastern U.S. BTW: Are you a member of the Kalmbach Model Railroader Forum?

  • That first brick retaining wall must be at least 150'-0"... What civil engineering firm did you contract for that miracle???

  • If you look at a box car passing it, its only about 25'-30' feet high, very common site along the Pennsy NE Corridor built with those same sand stone blocks, and BTW, I happen to be a graduate Civil Engineer and didn't you ever hear of modeler's license wne it comes to model railroad's??? Thanks to all the others who've posted positive comments on my layout this past year...

  • Another mighty fine looking layout

  • WOW! I live in South Bound Brook and this is great!

  • Once again, thanks to all who have left such nice comments on my layout. Working on a track plan and some new videos soon...

  • its great man!!!

  • fabuleux genial 5*****

  • No, its all hand laid Code 70, except for a few stotage tracks in the hidden staging yard! Thanks to you and all who have commented so far...

  • did you use flexi track by any chance?

  • flexitrack is probably what most, if not all, professionals use. They might use some fixed pieces here and there, but most of it is flexitrack

  • Looks like a moving piece of art. Very nice.

  • Nice workmanship....

  • Love your clean trackwork, nice easement curves, and no wobble on your cars, very nice

  • Verry Verry Good

  • Cool.I have HO too.

  • Thanks for all the nice comments on this and all of my other videos!

  • Nice work I read the Descrption and one rail road came to mind The Good ole' Lehigh and Hudson River Rail Road.

  • wow such smooth running and great senery. Amazing video great job! 5 stars and favortie

  • awesome, lots of alcos i love it, wish i had room though

  • Nice layout. Really have a great touch - a little to old for me (modeling modern times) but you gotta love the details...

  • Ditto, nice scale speed and realitic scenery. Audio track is annoying.

  • nice speed, looks very natural =)

  • Very nice work. Love the Alco power! Thanks for running at prototypical speeds. P.S. - DCC is cool! You should try it.

  • why are the trains going so slow

  • cuz it's realistic!

  • nice layout wat size of bench work?

  • Its an open 9' x 24' "C" shape, 1' x 4' box frames. The road bed is all 1/2" plywood with 1/4" Homasote. All track is Handlaid Code 70. Scenery is plaster on screen wire covered with ground foam products. The basic track plan is a double return loop at either end with a six track staging yard benath the upper levvel. Control is analog walk along MRC Controlmaster 20 cabs, although I'm debatinmg whether or not to go DCC. Glad you like it! Working on some more vids soon...

  • Also, the depth varies from 24" to 36", 48" at the ends that are accessible from both sides.

  • nice layout wat size of bench work?

  • Simple beautiful layout but your sounds effects are terrible

  • Thanks!, I know, its an old CMI track powered sound effect....got to go digital...

  • nice layout!
