This version sounds different thaan the one I'm used to. There's anothret version with tremelo and the cadence is slightly diffrent. They're both really good though.
@85Rising@mjgamer1 There are at least three different album covers to Ode to Sunshine. The original is a cardboard sleeve, and two distinct US and UK/foreign releases.
@peechyq HaHa. Were you thinking the same thing? Not that I don't like Wilco at all, I just think a lot of their stuff is self-indulgent. These guys don't seem that way. I want to get more of their stuff. I got "ode" and "history" any other good albums you've heard?
The beat is so amazing it sounds so good im dancing and commenting at the same time! I saw these guys live there so amazing! I love them live! THUMBS UP!
I love this version as well, but does anyone know where I could find the other? Obviously I mean without purchasing lol. Limewire etc is no help at all :(
idk if you can download it but i know that myspace has it listed. it's not on their page though. scroll down and it should be listed under the band FAULT and the title will say: "Street Walker By Delta Spirit"
Aw, nope you can't download it. Thanks anyway though, it's still nice to be able to hear it sometime other than when I'm at work (Which is where I discovered the song haha)
@ObamaLikesKFC If only people were willing to spend the money to go to their shows, its bull shit if you justify downloading music by saying you go to their shows, how many albums do you download and how many shows have you been too? 9 times out of 10 they are not equal, I am fin ewith people downloading music, just dont try and give a weak ass justification for it
@MrAndrewcspence well am going at as many show as am able too but my money can t afford me all the band i'm listening too and more it's quite hard to buy a cd with some good old ska as aston ellis (which is one example between a thousand)
so YA am downloading music in hugh quantity cuz it s way to expensive.
AND: i recognize the job of the artist but should nt be music, and art as himself, provided by the government and free for everyone?
what about the poor ppl who hardly managed to end month?
@Taserer Considering I made no reference to either Metallica or Eminem I obviously wasnt talking about them, so you bringing those artists up is meaningless. My point was I am fine with people downloading as it gets more music to more people. What I have a problem with is people justifying their downloading, by arguing they go to shows, when the amount of shows attended and albums downloaded do not equate.
Now to the flawed arguments, 'provded by government', are you serious I would say health care, infrastructure and helping the needy are infinitely more important than setting up a free entertainment system. Second making records and touring is not cheap, most real artists do make music for the love of it, but many bands especially ska/punk bands do not continue because they cannot afford to keep spending their own money constantly, especially when they have a family.
Bands usually make the majority of their earnings through touring and merch (aka tshirts and junk). Several big artists now release their albums for free or for "pay what you want" a type of donations method.
This version is off of there EP "I Think I've Found It". I much prefer this version and have discussed the change with both Jon and Matt. They each told me that they wanted a different vibe for the song, plus to give Rounder something new for the re-release of "Ode to Sunshine".
this version is like 10008000 times better then the one on my ipod :c
