  • The woman in the red jacket appears as though she's about to break down crying.

  • can't wait to see Lopatkina as Odette/Odile. i'm seeing her in July. I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!

  • WHEN WILL OBRAZTSOVA BE PROMOTED, FATEYEV?

  • i have been love with all things russian since Anastasia.

  • @anime00manga Do you know the true story of Anastasia? It is much better! :)

  • @loulie1997 yes, after watching the animation i researched it :) you are right it is rather better, but i still love the cartoon!

  • at 2:19 you can see Oksana Skorik from "Beautiful Tragedy" in the red leotard!!! :-O

  • amazing !!!

  • What's up with the narrator's accent? Sounds like she's trying waaaay to hard to be cultured.

  • So, Mr. diredtor prefers longer ballerinas to become NYCB 2? It's a tragedy for the smaller extremely talented ones. And we need Kirov/Mariinsky at first!

  • @Bnesque awful jerkyboy clearly declares his unesplicable admiration for NYCB as he was directing an italian amateur ballet school .he is really an idiot.

  • @pediatrapaola He was too short to be loved by M. B. Strange reverce pschology!

  • @Bnesque really find unesplicable his mind,at the least nycb is a company built on the repertory of mr b ,and one is enought ,and personally never was a great fan of mr b repertoire, repeat one company is more than enought.jerk would be better to work seriously on his company,at the moment he has just 2 or 3 good male principals ,is a shame, that is kirov that he has in his responsability, not some vaudeville group.

  • @pediatrapaola Neither was I an admirer of Mr. B by seeing nycb staging his repatoire. But tell you the truth, when I saw them in Mariinsky, I found them very beautiful. But I have to say again Mariinsky's first priority always dwells on restoring the pure classique style.

  • @Bnesque staged by mariinski averything would be beautiful ,but there are priorities ,as you told .

  • Very informative & interesting. Too bad they made an unforgiveable mistake with the name of the late, great Ninel Kurgapkina.

  • this is NOT the right director for this company== he does not have the right feel for the beauty that the company has stood for-- why change when you are the best!!

  • Very interesting!

  • at 2:19, is the girl in red Oksana Skorik?

  • i HATE the new director of kirov... he is forcing all his dancers 2 lose so much weight... he fired 12 of his dancers.

  • no dude thats not true...i mean he fired 12 of his dancers ...its true....but he didnt fired the remaining coz he has a crush on one of the dancers .....now dont ask her name u must know it

  • umm duhhh he didnt fire the remaining or else there would b no kirov company... ur not making any sense... read wut u wrote and then rewrite it so it makes sense plz.. im really interested in wut u hav 2 say.

  • hey dude sory but i was joking ....i dont even know what is kirov company.....i just commented whataver came in my mind......sory...forgive me

  • wow lol...

  • agreed! And what I hate the most is that he will not do any re-construction of any ballet thats not in their rep already. The Bolshoi just did a new Coppelia and the Kirov wont cuz Fadeyev doesnt want to.

  • YES! alina somova WAS talented before he pretty much ruined her!!! she's so frail and thin shes not a good dancer anymore!

  • Somova has ALWAYS been frail and unnaturally thin - she's carried that from ballet school. If you see footage of her in the documentary "Ballerina" when she was still a student she barely has any energy after doing a couple of bars of the end of a Paquita variation. Shé wasn't healthy before entering the company. I don't think she is naturally meant to be that small.

  • me either... if you see her videos when she gained a little weight she was SO beautiful.

  • How long is Fadeyev in for? I thought in the doco piece above it said he was "interim director" or is this a really old report and he's been made director.............bit confuzzled here...

  • Where did you hear that from? Is this Fedeyev you are talking about?

  • i got to see Diana in Don Quixote at OCPAC---BEAUTIFUL!
