Has anyone noticed that whenever the villains are all together, it's shot entirely in slanted angles (I think they're called Dutch angles)? It's like Battlefield Earth!!

Burgess Meredith...what a class act. I LOVE his Penguin (as well as Cesars Joker, Franks Riddler and Lee Merriwether was a cool Catwoman) but Burgess's Penguin was my favorite villain in the series. Would have loved to meet this extremely talented man before his passing. R.I.P Burgess, Frank, and Cesar. Thanks for the great performances that still rock 45 years later.

Notice the way he delivers that tea, it's obvious that he could snap the commodore's neck at any moment but instead he only highlights his unpredictable madness by choosing to let him and his cohorts live a little while longer. It's as if he wants them to discover the futility of existence on their own, which would be the cruelest joke of all.

how do they come up with all these calculations? in an episode the penguin had them tied to a catapault and batman used a remote control to put the batmobile with a safety net right where they would land and said he calculated that they would land there. batman and robin are geniuses.
