After listening to Bob Marleys music in 37 years now, I have found my five favorites (although other songs can be better in single- semi-dub- or other versions): "No More Trouble", "Natural Mystic", "Mr Brown", "Put It On" and "Stir It Up". There are also a number of very good songs from 1968-1972, when Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer almost starved to death because no one bought their music. I wonder how Marley would had fared when ragga came in the 80s. Tosh was about to be ruined.
Bob, I thank you so much for giving me, and other people inspirations to create theirs. And I also thank you for many years of great music and inspirations. May your legacy live on, and may you rest in peace. Thank You.

I admire the way in which he was able to connect to his roots, and led many others through his music to do the same. I am Native of occupied Mexico. I see how Native pople people of color, all around the world, have suffered and so I see that Native America and Jamaica have much in common. Oh my!!! you are right, I play Bob Marley every where I go, but never noticed peoples reactions, sooo I parked in a bunch of different parking lots over a two day period with Bob playing in hearing distance, and not once did I get a negative reaction, a lot of them started dancing,and a couple of people asked who it was. These were black and white older and younger.

After listening to Bob Marleys music in 37 years now, I have found my five favorites (although other songs can be better in single- semi-dub- or other versions): "No More Trouble", "Natural Mystic", "Mr Brown", "Put It On" and "Stir It Up". There are also a number of very good songs from 1968-1972, when Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer almost starved to death because no one bought their music. I wonder how Marley would had fared when ragga came in the 80s. Tosh was about to be ruined.

I admire the way in which he was able to connect to his roots, and led many others through his music to do the same. I am Native of occupied Mexico. I see how Native pople people of color, all around the world, have suffered and so I see that Native America and Jamaica have much in common. At least in my home He continues to be a man of Great Honor and his legacy will live on.

Oh my!!! you are right, I play Bob Marley every where I go, but never noticed peoples reactions, sooo I parked in a bunch of different parking lots over a two day period with Bob playing in hearing distance, and not once did I get a negative reaction, a lot of them started dancing,and a couple of people asked who it was. These were black and white older and younger.
