Taeyeon is more of an idol singer whose vocal abilities rise above many other artistes in idol groups and they are of different categories. 아이돌 가수들을 보면 실력이 있다 없다를 떠나 멤버들이 없을때에 빈자리를 혼자서 채울수 있느냐 없느냐가 중요한것 같다. 많은 관중들이 보고있고 넓은 live 무대위에 혼자 조명 받으며 서있을때의 중압감을 과연 이길수 있을 지, 관중들을 장악하고 감동을 전해주고 그들과 교감할수 있을지, 한곡이나 다 부를수 있을지가 걱정된다. 그런 관점에서 볼때 태연이란 가수는 실력은 있다. 메인 보컬이고 한그룹에 리더라는 조건도 적용 되겠지만... 다만 모든것이 갖추어 지지 않은 악조건 속에서도 지금보다 더 잘부를수 있을 지 걱정되지만.....

가수는 당연히 노랠 잘불러야 된다 아니 그이상이지 않으면 안된다. 웬만한 일반인도 노래는 잘부르니 말이다. 잘한다 못한다라는 평가는 직접 라이브공연을 와서 보는것 외에는 방법이 없다. 그러니 라이브 공연 돈내고 와서 보세요 직접 돈내고 와서 본후 이러쿵 저러쿵해도 유툽같은 음질이 많이 손상된 곳에서 듣고 댓글 다는것보다 나니깐...

I think what makes Taeyeon's vocal recognize by others is that her versatility in singing. I mean there's a few idol singers out there with pretty good vocal but most of them are, to me, afraid to show off their vocals versatility by singing songs that only suit for their vocals. Capability is one, but versatility is another.

Taeyeon is definitely one of the people from an idol group that I respect because she can actually SING. Most of the idol group these days have pointless songs with members that can't even sing more than 5 notes >.> Tho, I don't think she sings as great as BMK sings this song. When she starts to reach those high notes in the chorus, she doesn't have that extra touch that BMK puts on each note. All in all, amazing performance Tae Yeon, you are an awesome singer :D
