This is by no means a typical Danish home. Our buildings are usually a lot more old-fashioned because generally Copenhagen and the provinces are made up largely of restorated historical buildings (we have laws to protect changes made to properties. Nonetheless, the Oprah videos seem to only really give insight in how it is to be an overclass woman living in Denmark.

Typical or not, someone must keep this house into perfect clean condition. Since it's all white, how many maids do they have at their service to run after 3 kids? I mean, you can get blind by this shining!
Plus I always thought that scandinavian design was that basic simple so that you can customize your place and stuck up various stuff. This house is boring.

this is what we in denmark calls "liebhave" or on english penthouse..
A typical danish house is a normal house on typical 100-200m2, with fx wooden floors (like my house) and normal kitchen and on and on..

This is total bullshit. I'm a dane, and this is no where near a typical danish home.
This is a typical upperclass appartment, and no way does it represent the danish living standard in any way.
The fact that it cost around 1 million US dollars, makes it pretty much impossible to afford for the vast majority of danes.
The woman in the vid is a upperclass designer, and she is a minority in denmark.

well that is just amazing, this is not a typical danish design, this is the typical home of a person who got her idea of design of the house that she wanted to live in. I wouldn't want to live in that kind of house..so empty..maybe Oprah should try to come back and surprise the owner of the house after a week or a month and see if it's still the same ..the structures of the house are dangerous for her three kids..
