  • @sulsaboy

    because.psd

  • this boss. this fucking boss. i get so close to beating him, so close to destroying that guy, and you know what happens? goddamn necrosis. one hit kills across the board. why.jpeg

  • @captainjobo Beat him faster! I think he only starts using necrosis after turn 25 or so. But yeah it's also random, and annoying X|

  • @captainjobo whynot.png

  • Is the highest level 70 or can you go to 100?

  • @PokedPoker In this version the level cap is 70. It was changed to 99 in 2 and 3, though you had to fulfill special requirements to get there.

  • woah dude hardcore! XD i had no idea there was such a dungeon in that game... XD

so far i can't even beat the boss of that underground city... ^^

  • Its a giant tentacled vagina?

Nope no sexual innuendos to see here folks.

Oh anychance you wanna put up some EO3 boss battles?

  • @nerdycub when I'm done with EO2 :P

  • i didnt know that little medic girl could be so damn strong!!!

  • @deckarx I know right? Hell she hits even harder than my fighter, and she's way more useful.

  • Do you recommend using an alchemist in this fight? What skill is most useful against this boss? =o

  • @Filipe304 I don't know. I heard he's weak to everything hence the huge ammount of hp so I guess pretty much anything works on him. But of course, you need to focus on surviving first.

  • @djrelllik

    Oh thanks ^^

Somehow I thought that I wouldnt get an answer xD

  • @Filipe304 even if it takes forever, I do love to reply to my comments :P No point in having these videos otherwise lol

  • Behold the Kaizo of RPG,s!

  • I totally gave up on this one.

  • How do you have 74 Skill points on a character? I only have 72 skill points for my lvl 70 characters? I s there a bonus you get in the game?

  • @erath17 yeah when you retire them. I don't know exactly how it works but when you retire a char, the one replacing him start with more skills points and maybe stats too. I think the higher level they are, the more points they get.

  • @djrelllik I apologize for replying to a year-old comment, but basically, from what I last read (maybe I'm confusing it with the second game), you can remove the level 70 cap of a new character IF you retired a level 70 character; along with the boosted stats and stuff. The level cap jumps to 80, then you have to do it again if you wanna reach 90, then finally, doing it one last time, level 99. ^^

  • @GamerWatcher Don't worry, but yeah you're confusing it with the second and third game. You can't increase the level in EO 1. And actually, it's waaaaaay more tedious than that lol. You actually increase the cap by one level each time you retire. So you have to do it 30 times, which takes forever.

  • @djrelllik ...Oh crap, lol. I think you're right. Geesh; I'm addicted enough with the 3rd game and its intricacies... And I only feel like I'm dipping my toes with my current party of Gladiator/Arbalist, Prince/Buccaneer, Monk/Farmer, Farmer/Buccaneer and Zodiac/Princess. They're 90% only in that setup for true role-playing purposes; my characters, haha. I already beated the game once; nabbed Yggdroid and slayed the Deep Princess. After New Game Plussing, I got Shogun and beated

  • @GamerWatcher That damned Kirin (Or was it Kishin? Bleh, lol). Then I, feeling nostalgic for the challenge of the beginning of the game, decided to ERASE everything and start over. Hence my current party I mentioned in the beginning.

This game is dangerous to my health, and I suspect the 4th game is going to obliterate my social life. It's a good thing I already nabbed the friends I need. XD

  • @GamerWatcher Loll nice. (Farmer/Buccaneer, hmm that's original haha) I'm still at my second playthrough but I own with my not so original team of Shogun/Gladiator, Gladiator/Arbalist, Arbalist/Gladiator, Zodiac/Monk, Princess/Farmer. Actually I got to the 5th stratum boss at level 44, and I got totally wrecked! I guess I'll need to grind a little.

  • @djrelllik Gotta love the Gladiator's synergy with virtually everything. :3

Yup, that Farneer o' mine specializes in guns. I already put all the skill points of the Farmer that I want for him, and when I go endgame, I'll probably relocate them skill points to other things. Or just... you know... leave him in the Guild HQ, lol. :P

I forgot to mention I have a backup Arbalist, but she is just Studying... I need her as meat of slaughter to create my Yggdroid on the New Game+

  • why do you only have 4 pary members? why not 5?

  • @manjakit It let me use a second buff (My boosted healing). If the total of buffs my chars have is 10 or higher, primevil will use a move that removes all of them. If I'm unable to do a boosted immunize afterwards, I'm pretty much dead.

  • the funny thing is, primevil is symmetric (i'm dutch, sorry)

  • how can i get to the 25th floor XD i have my party around level 70 and i cant find the downstairs T_T.

    ---STRATEGY PARTY---

    1Medic ,1 Landsnetch, 2 Surviavlist, 1 Alchemist.

Try to put medic and alchemist on front line.

  • thanks :P

  • any idea hw can i get a ronin?

  • Yeah don't worry, you'll be able to get them eventually. Same thing with the hexers

  • please

  • m you can help me in the first levels and has I come not have the holy water

  • Landsknecht doesn't suck - he's just one-sided. All he does is damage, but he does it well. Ronin has it worse - has to burn a turn to use a stance before he can use his best attacks. Survivalist does good damage, and has useful buffs, but can't take hits nearly as well. Honestly, the best party for the late/post-game is Protector and Landsknecht in the front row, then Medic, Survivalist, and Troubadour in the back.

  • hmm, well my first thought was that the landsknecht was indeed one-sided, and that he only did dmg, but that he was actually even bad at it. I mean, my medic, although she has less hp and def which doesn't make much difference near the end anyway, can heal and use a few other useful skills but can also deal as much dmg.

  • But I prefer my survivalist even more, she almost always attack first, can deal x2 dmg with a chance to stun every 3 turns, deal x1.5 the rest of the times, splitted on multiple targets when needed, has some really useful skills and has a little less hp and def which doesn't really make any difference. I sure found him useful earlier but I found that he got outclassed near the end. And for the ronin, well I never tried it on the first game so I can't say but I know he rules in the sequel.

  • hmm I couldn't tell you the exact name, but it's from shining force 2 and you hear it when you are in a shrine or something similar.

  • I need help at the start i dont know what to do he said i needed to map the first floor what to do he wont let me through.

  • I'm probably going to sound like a 5-year-old and get a bunch of thumbs-down but this boss' appearance really freaks me out. D:

  • I hate the 28th stratum, where you have to warp around. You HAVE to look at a map

  • come on, they could've used more original boss music after the first four used this theme.

  • Wow, why did they make a boss so hard? At least you figured out a way to withstand his attacks :s
