Why does the LA times need to release the video? They were the ones that DISCLOSED the fact that they had it because they did a report on it 6 months ago!!! They told their source that they would not release it, and they're keeping to their word. The question you should really be asking is why is fox news drudging this up a few days before the election, instead of bring it up SIX MONTHS AGO when LA times reported that they had the video.. The answer isn't a hard one to figure out.

How many people are the right going to try to smear to win this election? It's becoming not only a joke, but a sadly run campaign. At least Obama has some tact and doesn't return the favor! He could bring up a lot of people and situations (Keating 5, G. Gordon Liddy, among others)- but is choosing to keep HIS word to run a more respectful campaign. McCain and Palin are desperate, as well as the rest of the right, and it shows. I almost feel bad for them...

I emailed the LA Times. And shellius, you know if they had a tape of McCain with a PLO radical it would be all over the evening news. Doug Ross has written in his blog that he has talked with the LA Times writer and has seen a clip from the tape and here are the statements Obama said to rile the audience up during a toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis"
