  • where is this picture from? Jhansi?

  • @QuietMule Watts wouldn't take your words with a grain of salt. He'd consider the source. It's hard to be humble, but wise to take the practice seriously and go deeper into yourself before judging others.

Shakespeare wrote, "Be true to thine own self and thou can'st not then be false to any man." He and Watts did enjoy the hippie life. So do many people who love them. They make us laugh at ourselves and the world. If something's wrong with that, it is in the eye of the beholder.

  • I like his writing and talks, but never a resolution...ad nauseum.

  • Great lecture! Watts was such gifted speaker. I always find myself smiling when I listen to him

  • To good

  • Does Watts conclude that the way to enlightenment is to be a hippy and just have fun? Doing nothing is the best way to meditate, but you have to take your practice seriously and go deeper into yourself first. This guy is not enlightened, so take his words with a grain of salt. ;)

  • @QuietMule You seriously know nothing about Watts.

  • This video is CRAZY. Such complex questions... Such a complex subject... I LOVE it. :)

  • cool,thanks

  • @janenjanes: perhaps the ones with music would be more to your taste?

  • @hummingbirdSage please keep the music off.lol.

  • @hummingbirdSage To me, too, but damn, to find this video boring is just... You know.!! :D

  • @hummingbirdSage hahahahaha I'm one of those but still can appreciate all this. Now I have no idea what was said previously but I have a good idea. none-the-less back to the topic .. This was of thinking (in the video) reminds me of the same dynamics in a person trying to find a life partner.. They seek and seek and mourn etc but its when they let go and begin to love life, it just happens. Not enough room to talk here but u get the idea I hope. if not no matter. peace!

  • @hummingbirdSage He's right though. It is boring. Or rather, it should be. It should be obvious and boring, but it's not.

  • @janenjanes go watch tv

  • @janenjanes does boredom do you?

  • @janenjanes it is boring isnt it? people generally come to these cause we are poor dears trying to make a satisfying consenses of our lives. but we're all better off listening to music. still this man is lovely.

  • @janenjanes lol

  • @janenjanes perhaps the ones without information would be more to your taste?

  • there's got to be showdown. the double bind is the hallmark of Truth. not for the dichotomous believer. but there is hope yet~

  • Oh my im quite eager to smoke the green leaf on this wonderful eve..well?

  • @TheGravygun : to each his/her own!
