Thats interesting because Gary was always really good to his fans. I've met Gary Numan twice back stage in the 80's. There is a really good interview with Gary by Noel Fielding on you tube, he talks about when he was in Japan, once famous going to a queen gig and hanging out with Freddie and the band afterwards.

and later Queen's drummer Roger played on Gary's album "Dance". they'd gotten chummy whilst on tour in Japan.
